Cut line Do Not Prin t! 1) Choose your method of powering your Bea mitô (a. AAA Batteries or b.12V DC Auto Adapter) a. Remove the battery cover from the back of the unit by gently pressing down the tab and pulling out. Install 2 ìAAAî batteries with the positive end facing down. Replace the battery cover. b. Insert the small connector of the 12V DC Auto Adapter into the Bea mitô's 3V DC jack, located at the bottom of the unit, and plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter jack of your car. 2) Plug the 3.5mm stereo cable into the lineout jack or the headphone jack of the audio source you wish to transmit. * 3) Select the FM frequency that you wish to transmit to with the selector on the side of the Bea mitô(88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7, 88.9, 107.1, 107.3, 107.5, 107.7 or 107.9 MHz) NO T E : for bes t res ults , s elect a frequency tha t ha s the wea k es t or no s igna l from a ra dio s ta tion. 4) Press the Power button on the front of the unit (LED will be lit up when powered properly) 5) Tune your FM stereo to the same frequency as selected in step #4. 6) Adjust the volume on your audio player and stereo for maximum enjoyment. * Some audio device's output level is either too high or too low at the lineout jack. If it is too high, the sound might be distorted. If it is too low, the sound might be too noisy. If this happens, connect the transmitterís plug to the headphone jack and adjust the volume level on your audio device. B ea mitô E a s y S etup Ins tructions Frequently A s ked Q ues tions about the irock! Æ 410FM B eamitô Q: What is the B eamitô? A: The B eamitô is a wireless music adapter that connects to any audio source and broadcasts that audio to any radio or stereo within 10-30 feet. Q: How can I achieve maximum performance and sound quality from my B eamitô? A: 1) Maintain fresh batteries. (Batteries are not required if you are using the B eamitô with the 12V DC auto adapter.) 2) Turn the B eamitô off when not in use. 3) Keep the B eamitô within 10 feet of the radio that it is transmitting to. 4) Keep the cord that connects the B eamitô to the audio player straight, positioning the player as far from the B eamitô as possible. 5) Before using the B eamitô, listen to 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7, 88.9, 107.1, 107.3, 107.5, 107.7 or 107.9 MHz FM on your radio and select the frequency with the weakest radio station. Q: Should I connect my Bea mitô to the Audio Line Output or Headphone Output of my player? A: For best results, connect the Bea mitô to Headphone Output and adjust the volume levels on your source and stereo for maximum enjoyment. Q: When I press the power button the LED blinks on and off, yet nothing works, how do I fix this? A: The flickering on and off or dimming of the LED is a low battery indication. Replace both ìAAAî batteries, or use the 12VDC Auto Adapter, and continue normal use.
