The user should never open the device. In case of a malfunction, the device should be sent to OraMetrix for service. 1.3 Encoding/Decoding: All wireless footswitches/receivers are coded with a unique 12Bit code. See serial number of the device for your code. It is not possible to interchange the wireless footswitches between two scanning stations. 1.4 Use with other electrical components Do not co-locate (<200mm distance) or operate the device in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. 1.4.1 Minimum separation distances to user Please provide a minimum separation distance of 200mm from the transmitter to the users body. 1.4.2 Minimum separation distances between footswitch transmitter and receiver Please provide a minimum separation distance of 200mm from the footswitch transmitter to the receiver. 1.5 RF Exposure This device and its antenna must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. -CONFIDENTIAL- Page: 2 of 3 T3004 Instruction regarding development, testing or manufacturing Last printed 29.10.2003 User Manual for Wireless Footswitch ASSY-000244 Declaration of Conformity with FCC Rules for Electromagnetic Compatibility This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Antenna Specification WIRELESS FOOTSWITCH ASSY-000244 1 Antenna Specification A λ/4 (80mm) length antenna designed from an 0.5mm² Cu cable is used for the transmitter as for the receiver.
