The 2.4GHz Wireless Controller puts you in control of your game system with all the comfort of a remote controller combined with the reliability of cutting-edge wireless technology. With its "unblockable" RF signal transceivers, the 2.4GHz Controller lets you comfortably play from up to 40’ from your PlayStation®2 /PlayStation®/PS one™ while maintaining complete control over your gaming experience. This user guide will help you understand how to use your 2.4GHz Controller and get the most from the features it has to offer. SET-UP 1. Turn the PlayStation®2 power OFF. 2. Remove the battery cover of 2.4GHz Controller. 3. Insert Four (4) AAA batteries. (not included). 4. Replace the battery cover. 5. Insert the Receiver Dongle into the controller port on the game console. Always insert to Player 1 Slot for single player gameplay. 6. Place game disk into the PlayStation®2. 7. Turn on the power to your game console and begin play. FEATURE Receiver Dongle: Used to transmit and receive data from the controller to the game console. Directional Pad: The D-pad controls the direction in which the character moves. This is the primary directional control while in Digital Mode. Analogue Sticks: The two Analogue sticks each control two axis (X- and Y-axis). Different software titles will allow you to modify the way that the Analogueue sticks react in the games. While in Analogue Mode, any software title that is Vibration Function Compatible will cause the 2.4GHz Controller to vibrate at different levels, depending on actions taking place from within the game (e.g., being hit, crashing, or shooting). ANALOGUE ACTION BUTTON CHANNEL SELECTOR RECEIVER DONGLE 8 WAY DIRECTIONAL PAD ANALOGUE STICK Shoulder Buttons (L1, L2, R1, and R2): These are action buttons and their specific functions depend on the software being used. Action Buttons ( , , , ) : These buttons are used to perform various actions, depending on the software. For more details, see the software instruction manual. Start Button: This button is generally used to make selections in the menus and for pausing the game. For more details, see the software instruction manual. Select Button: This is a standard button that allows you to do various things, depending on the software. For more details, see the software instruction manual. Mode Button: The 2.4GHz Controller has two different modes; Analogue Controller Mode, and Digital Mode. Analogue Mode - RED Light On This is the standard “Dual Shock™” mode. Some games will only vibrate if the controller is in Analogue Controller mode. Digital Mode - Light OFF This is the original PlayStation® controller mode. This is the default control mode. Power On/Off Switch The “Power” switch allows you to switch the power On or Off. Player Channel Switch: A, B Group & 1-4 Player The 2.4GHz Controller provides 8 Player Channel for maximum 8 players gameplay, different player can select different RF Channel to avoid any interference between each player. A & B Group have 4 channels, please select Group (A or B) and then select the Player channel (1 to 4) to select your desired channel, do the same on the paired Receiver Dongle. Additionally, another RF source may cause interference. You can switch different Player Channel to avoid the interference. Vibration ON/Off By holding the “Mode” Button for more than 4 second, you can switch off the Vibration motor, LED will blink then release the “Mode” button. Doing the same procedure, you can reactivate the Vibration function again. CAUTIONS • IMPORTANT! Before using this product read all accompanying information and your game system’s instruction manual for safety, health and other information. • Use this unit only as intended. • To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. • To avoid electrical shock, do not disassemble. If the condition persists, consult a doctor. • Do not attempt to operate the unit in any way except with your hands. Do not bring the unit in contact with your head, face, or near the bones of any other part of your body. • The vibration function of this unit can aggravate injuries. Switch off or do not use the vibration function of the unit if you have any ailment of the bones or joints of your hands or arms. • Avoid prolonged use of this unit. Take breaks every 30 minutes.
