After successfully connecting the receiver and turning the key to “On” position, the engine will be independently controlled. The engine may be started by key, recoil, or remote control. The engine may be turned off by key or remote control. If the remote control does not perform at long distances (over 20 meters) or the indicator light begins to dim, check the battery. The engine will stop after 8 seconds. 3: Close the cover and retract the antenna. Maintenance: Battery Replacement: 1. Loosen the screws on the shell of the transmitter. 2. Replace the old battery with a new 23 Alkaline/ 12 Volt battery. 3. Reassemble the shell and tighten the screws.
