Using the light base mounting template enclosed, drill three (3) 3/16" mounting holes and a hole 1" at the center of base for wiring 12Vdc power. 3. Mount light so that the FLOJET name on the base is facing to the rear. 4. Fasten light in place with three (3) #10 x 1" screws provided or appli- cable screws for your particular application. 32 Wireless Remote Control INSTRUCTION TO THE USER: The user is cautioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compli- ance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment. ● Wireless ● Constructed of non-corrosive materials ● Sealed beam halogen lamp ● Wireless remote control and 15' cable included ● Long life gear drive ● Low amp draw ● Patented clutch mechanism prevents motor damage when running against limit stops ModelWeightsStandard NumberVoltageAmpsCandlepowerlb (kg)Carton 8035-10012 Vdc3.6100,0006 (2.7)4 Part DescriptionNumber Bulb Kit18753-017B Control91006-393A Upper Housing60023-1000 Lower Housing60024-100A Base60027-100A Bulb Retainer60035-1000 Motor-Vertical (upper)18753-0350 Motor-Horizontal (lower)18753-0350 HAND HELD TRANSMITTER 1. ON/OFF- Toggles the state of the Lamp from OFF to ON or from ON to OFF. 2. SWEEP- When depressed, the button will initiate a “back and forth” operation of the horizontal position. Depressing any other key will cancel this operation. 3. DIRECTIONAL- There are 4 buttons corresponding to RIGHT and LEFT and UP and DOWN. Depressing two direction at the same time will result in no signal being transmitted. 4. SLOW- When depressed, it enables the SLOW speed. All subsequent direction keys will operate the searchlight motors at slow speed. The SLOW rate will be active until the FAST key is depressed. 5. FAST- When depressed, it enables the FAST speed. All subsequent direction keys will run the searchlight motors at fast speed. The FAST rate will be active until the SLOW key is depressed. 6. DATA LED/LOW BAT LED- The data light is lit whenever any data is being transmitted. The LOW BAT led will blink a _ second ON, 2 second OFF rate when a low battery condition is detected. 7. BATTERY REPLACEMENT- The transmitter battery may be replaced by sliding the door on the back of the transmitter case. Memory will not be lost during battery change. Automatic Lamp OFF-To prevent the possibility of that the lamp is left ON during the daylight and not noticed by the user, or that the transmit- ter unit has failed, the receiver/controller will automatically shut the lamp OFF after 15 minutes of non-operation. The automatic timeout can be disabled by depressing the RIGHT and LEFT arrows on the transmitter at the same time; the searchlight will blink ON-OFF to indicate it has received the command. Code Setting- The LEARN mode is activated on the transmitter by depressing both the SLOW and FAST buttons at the same time. This transmits a special LEARN code instead of the normal SLOW or FAST commands. The receiver/controller will accept this code as valid ONLY if it is activated within 5 minutes of application of power to the searchlight (receiver). This prevents an adjacent searchlight from learning the spe- cific code. After 5 minutes of power, this learning mode is DISABLED in the searchlight (receiver). The transmitter code capacity exceeds 60,000 channel channels for your protection. 54 TROUBLESHOOTING All lights are thoroughly inspected before shipping and are warranted to operate within specifications. If light does not operate correctly, check fuse, circuit connections and battery in control before proceeding. Problem Solution Light moves – 1. Check bulb. bulb does notoperate. Dim light.1. Check voltage at power source. 2. Increase wire size from source to light. 3. Check for proper ground circuit. 1 2 4 3 5 6 7 Lightheadoutline 1" Dia. hole in deck for power Lightbaseoutline Mountingholes (3) 3/16" MOUNTING TEMPLATE HAND HELD TRANSMITTER INSTRUCTION TO THE USER FCC ID: RT491006393 This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interfer- ence in a residential installation.
