The EUT was connected to a notebook computer, did the notebook computer play audio file with maximum volume during the tests? Ans #3: Yes, the notebook computer play audio file with maximum volume. Question#4: As indicated in section 7.1 of test report, the 26dB bandwidth does not comply with section 15.239(a) of rules when the device is tuned to lowest and highest channel. Please address this non-compliance issue. For your information, based upon section 15.215(c) of FCC rules, the occupied bandwidth is defined as 20db bandwidth. Ans #4: Please refer to the attached for revised test report. Question#5: Per 15.215(b) of FCC rules, any unwanted emissions shall not exceed the level of the fundamental emission. However, the test result indicated the value of channel 21 is lower than the second harmonic emission. Please address this non-compliance issue.. Ans #5: Please refer to the attached for revised test report. Question#6: Based on the test result of radiated emission test, the factor indicated for fundamental and other unwanted emissions measurement are different from -18dB to 16.5dB. Please explain why have such large difference and provide the correct factor ( antenna factor, cable lost, amplifier gain ) associated with fundamental emission and the second harmonics emission. TEST METHODOLOGY The tests documented in this report were performed in accordance with ANSI C63.4 and FCC CFR 47 Part 15 Subpart C. 3.1 EUT CONFIGURATION The EUT configuration for testing is installed on RF field strength measurement to meet the Commissions requirement and operating in a manner that intends to maximize its emission characteristics in a continuous normal application. 3.2 EUT EXERCISE The calibrated antennas used to sample the radiated field strength are mounted on a non-conductive, motorized antenna mast 3 or 10 meters from the leading edge of the turntable. 3.3 GENERAL TEST PROCEDURES Conducted Emissions The EUT is placed on the turntable, which is 0.8 m above ground plane. According to the requirements in Section 7.1 of ANSI C63.4.Conducted emissions from the EUT measured in the frequency range between 0.15 MHz and 30MHz using CISPR Quasi-Peak detector mode. Radiated Emissions The EUT is a placed on as turntable, which is 0.8 m above ground plane. The turntable shall rotate 360 degrees to determine the position of maximum emission level. EUT is set 3m away from the receiving antenna, which varied from 1m to 4m to find out the highest emission.
