Power support: The transmitter is fed by 8 1.5AA battery. and the receiver use 750Mah/8.4V nidkel hydrogen battery. Antenna: The transmitter and receiver utilize different antenna. Dipole antenna for transmitter, wire line antenna for receiver. The pulse signal provided by IC(EM78P458) will modulate one carrier circuit which consists of one crystal oscillator, R25,audion (BD139) , choke and so on. on top of this, the carrier frequency(72MHz) will be transmitted in FM mode. RF(around 72MHz) signal will be received by the receiver of helicopter. And then those signal will be demodulated and transferred into digital signal which will be decoded by the above mentioned IC(EM78P458) .In result, it can control the driver machine connected. Thus ascending, descending, turn right, turn left, rotate etc, all kinds action can be done.
TUNE-UP PROCEDURE NO.4# 1. TRANSMITTING 1.1 Frequency Adjustment a) Connect the frequency counter to the L32 b) Replace the crystal Y2 for the operating frequency. c) Adjust T1 d) Specification : Tx Frequency +/-0.803% 1.2 TX POWER CHECK a) Connect the RF power meter to the L32. b) Switch on the transmitter. c) Check the TX power. d) Specification:24dbm+/-1dbm 1.3 MAX DEVIATION ADJUSTMENT a) Connect the deviation meter to the L32 b) Switch on the TX c) Adjust R17 d) Specification : 3KHz, Dev.+/-2KHz 2. RECEIVING 2.1 RX FREQUENCY CHECK a) Connect the RF Signal Generator to L3 b) Adjust B1 c) Check the level and make into maximum 2.2 Sensitivity Check a) Connect sinnader meter to the L32 b) Connect DC voltmeter to R17 c) Reduce the RF output level of signal generator below- -105dbm d) Adjust B1, make into DC level into maximum, and get 12 db of the sinnader.
