Health and Safety Information General Guidelines • S o m e e l e c t r o n i c d e v i c e s m a y b e s u s c e p t i b l e t o electromagnetic interference. Locate the device away from TV set, radio and other electronic equipment to avoid electromagnetic interference. • The device may interfere with medical devices like hearing aids and pacemakers. Consult a physician or the manufacturer of the medical device before using the device. • Do not use your device in dangerous environments such as oil terminals or chemical factories where there are explosive gases or explosive products being processed. • Please use original accessories or accessories that are authorized by ZTE. Unauthorized accessories may affect the device performance, damage the device or cause danger to you. • Do not attempt to dismantle the device. There are no user serviceable parts. • Do not allow the device or accessories to come into contact with liquid or moisture at an y time. Do not immerse the device in any liquid. • Do not place objects on top of the device. This may lead to overheating of the device. • The device must be used in ventilated environment. • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or store it in hot areas. High temperature can shorten the life of electronic devices. • Do not allow children to play with the device. • Use an antistatic cloth to clean the device. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleanser as these could damage the plastic case. • Use the device within the temperature range of -10°C ~ +55°C, and the storage temperature range is -20°C ~ +70°C. The humidity range is 5%~90%. • Do not use your device during a thunderstorm. • Do not take out your (U)SIM card unnecessarily. The (U) SIM card may be easily lost or it can be damaged by static electricity. • Do not place the device alongside computer disks, credit cards, travel cards or other magnetic media. The information contained on the disks or cards may be affected by the device. • Do not paint the device. • Do n ot drop, throw, or subject the device to rough treatment. • Remember to recycle: The cardboard packing supplied with this device is ideal for recycling. • Do not disassemble or open crush, bend or deform, puncture or shred • Do not modify or remanufacture, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, immerse or expose to water or • • Only use the battery with a charging system that has been qualified with the system per this standard. Use of an unqualified battery or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage, or other hazard. • Do not short circuit a battery or allow metallic conductive objects to contact battery terminals. • Replace the battery only with another battery that has been qualified with the system per this standard, IEEE- • Promptly dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations • Battery usage by children should be supervised. • Avoid dropping the device or battery. Hospital Safety • Follow the instructions given by any respective medical facility regarding the use of Wireless devices on their premises. Road Safety • You must exercise proper control of your vehicle at all times. On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi Networks and select the default Network Name (SSID) for your Mobile HotSpot. 3. Enter the default password and click OK. Note:  It may take up to a minute to establish a connection  The default Network Name (SSID) and password will appear in the screen on your Mobile HotSpot 4. Open a web browser and go to www.T-Mobile.com/ConnectMe  Simply follow the on-screen instructions to set up your No Annual Contract data service. To access using a browser, do the following: 1. Connect to your hotspot device via Wi-Fi using the network connection software on your computer. Provide the Wi-Fi network password, if requested. 2. Open a browser and enter http://mobile.hotspot in the address bar. The T-Mobile 4G Mobile Hotspot login screen appears. 3. Enter your Password in the field provided. The default password is admin. 第9页 4. Select the Save Password checkbox if you wish to bypass the login screen in the future. 5. Click Login. If you entered the correct password, the Dashboard screen appears. To access via USB cable, do the following: 1. Connect your hotspot device to the PC with the USB cable. 2. Power on your device. 3. The OS detects and recognizes new hardware and finishes the installation automatically. After successful installation, the icon will appear on your desktop. NOTE: If the system does not launch installation automatically, you can run the installation program in path of My Computer > Mobile Hotspot. 4. Double-click the icon to open the login screen. 5. Enter your Password in the field provided. The default password is admin. 6. Select the Save Password checkbox if you wish to bypass the login screen in the future. 7. Click Login. If you entered the correct password, the Dashboard screen appears. Change Mobile Hotspot Admin Password 1. Access http://mobile.hotspot 2. Click Settings in the navigation area. 第10页 3. Select the Device Settings tab. 4. Follow the steps under Account Management to update your Password. 5. Click Apply. If everything is entered correctly, the Admin Password Changed dialog appears indicating the password was successfully changed. Change Mobile Hotspot Network Name (SSID) 1. Access http://mobile.hotspot. 2. Click Settings in the navigation. 3. Select the Wi-Fi Settings tab. 4. Change the name that appears in the Network Name (SSID) field in the Wi-Fi Settings area. 5. Select or deselect the Broadcast Network Name (SSID) checkbox to enable or disable broadcasting the hotspot’s Network Name (SSID). 6. Click Apply to save your changes on the Wi-Fi Settings tab of the Settings screen. Change Mobile Hotspot Wi-Fi Password 1. Access http://mobile.hotspot. 2. Click Settings in the navigation area. 3.
