Profile A complete Lightbridge 2 comprises of an air system an d a Groun d S yst em. I t is a h igh definition video transmitter, and sup po rt s Ground S ystem using the 2.4GHz frequency band. As it is small, power efficient and highly sensitive, the Lightbridge 2 can be used for many activities. The air system must be attached to the aircraft and the Ground System must be connected to a monitor to display the video and flight c ont ro ller info rmat ion , you c an also con tro l your airc raft an d g imb al wit h th e Ground Syst em. When the Lightbridge 2 transmits the video and flight controller information, th e air system is the transmitter while the ground is the receiver. The air system pulls video from the camera and flight controller information then modulates it and transmits to t h e Ground System. Th e Ground System then receives the information, demodulates it and sends it to a monitor or mobile device. The DJI GO app, available for mobile devices is required for an ideal viewing experience. When the Lightbridge 2 transmits the G roun d S yst em signal, the Ground System works as a transmitter while the air system works as a receiver. In Du al C on tr o l l er s mo d e, th e “M ast er” Ground System operator con trols th e orien tation of th e aircraf t, wh ile th e “Slave” Ground System con trols th e movement of the gimbal and camera operation. A D JI flight control system with DBUS port is required as the built in receiver only supports the DJI DBUS protocol. The G round S ystem includes Remote C ontroller module, th e reserved buttons on the Ground System c an be cu stomized set by th e flight controller’s assistant for expansion use.
