- PAGE 1 - User Manual Model: BM-150 (WLAN) Bluebird Soft, Inc. - PAGE 2 - Safety Warnings and Precautions Please follow the instructions to properly use the product and avoid accidents in advance z Battery Handling Precautions -If the batteries are damaged, severely shocked, heated, exposed to moisture or high temperatures, or bored by a gimlet, it may explode -Keep batteries away from children and pets. -Never store batteries where they will be exposed to direct sunlight, or subjected to high temperatures in a hot vehicle, near a heat source etc. -Never attempt to modify the battery compartment on the PDA, never insert anything(other than the recommended battery) in to the battery compartment. Unauthorized substitution of the battery could result in fire, electrical shock, or create other hazards. It also can be shorten life span of the battery. (In this case you can not have free of charge service) -If the battery has been recharged, you should use only the AC adaptor specified by BBS or standard charger. Using a different AC adaptor may shorten the life span or result in accidents or fire. (in this case you can not have free of charge service) z Do not use PDA in explosion areas . z If the PDA gets wet, never insert or place the terminal, battery, or charger into or near heating devices, such as heaters or microwave ovens . -This may cause production deformation, explosion or fire. If it is true, please submit composite filing of CDMA portion, and Bluetooth portion. If it is not true, please remove CDMA and bluetooth function from block diagram and schematic diagram. 2 Question #2: The test report mentioned 14 channels on page 7, but the high channel test was done at 2462MHz (channel 11) only. Please explain. Question #3: The test report mentioned WLAN antenna: -0.74dBi, Bluetooth: 2dBi, first please confirm if the device has bluetooth function, secondly, please explain why WLAN antenna gain does not agree with CF module specification in the filing. If the device uses -0.74dBi WLAN antenna, please submit a separate antenna specification. Question #4: The test report indicates "SAR evaluation is not required for the PORTABLE Device while its maximum output power is lower than threshold: 60/f(GHz) = 60/2.462 = 24.37mW." But the maximum power output of this device is 15.2 dBi (33.1mW), which is above 24.37mW. Please explain. (Please indicate that this device is for hand-held operation only.)
