American Telecommunications Certification Body Inc. 6731 Whittier Ave, McLean, VA 22101 March 21, 2006 RE: FCC ID: T3K-ICARE-I3300-A_ATCB003293 Attention: Daniel Lee I have a few comments on this Application. Please note that further comments may arise in response to answers provided to the questions below. 1. Please note that the device shown in the external photos is not a US version. Please note that the electrical adaptor plug shown is an EU plug. Please provide external photos of the US version of the device. 2. Please note that the FCC states that the separation distance used during SAR testing needs to be in the manual. Please provide this information as well. 3. Please note that the manual states that only specified accessories are to be used. However, the body worn accessories are not listed in the manual. Please note that when a device is approved with only specified accessories, the manual must clearly identify these accessories. Please note that the only accessories listed in the manual are the AC adapter and the battery. Please note that as SAR testing shows a specific accessory for body worn application, then this specific accessory must be listed in the manual. If other holders/accessories are to be allowed then testing must be done at the prescribed separation distance and with an accessory that has no metal, or with no accessory and separated by the specified distance. Please explain and please provide the necessary information in the manual. 4. Please note that the SAR report does not indicate the separation distance from the device to the phantom for Body Worn configurations. Please note that the photos on page 33 of the SAR report show that when tested the device was in a special holder and that a minimum distance was maintain due to this holder. Please specify what this distance was. 5. Please note that while the report shows the final results of EIRP data, it does not show the required data necessary. Please note that the FCC has stated they want this information in the report. Please provide the values for the items listed in item 9 of section 4.3.2 of the test report. If these values are pre-inserted into the measurement instrumentation, please provide an explanation of how the measurement device treats the individual values. 6. Please note that radiated emissions EIRP values listed on page 24 of the report do not show the values used in deriving the EIRP data. Please provide the signal generator value and cable factors and antenna gain used in deriving the EIRP radiated spurious emissions data. Dennis Ward mailto:[email protected] The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application. Failure to provide the requested information may result in application termination. Correspondence should be considered part of the permanent submission and may be viewed from the Internet after a Grant of Equipment Authorization is issued. Please do not respond to this correspondence using the email reply button. In order for your response to be processed expeditiously, you must submit your documents through the AmericanTCB.com website. Also, please note that partial responses increase processing time and should not be submitted. Any questions about the content of this correspondence should be directed to the sender.

SPORTON LAB Response For FCC Application 2006/3/24 RE: FCC ID: T3K-ICARE-I3300 1. The adapter is switching type from 110V to 240V and we tested it under 110V for conduction emission and radiated emission. The manufacturer will pack the US versionas they put on the market. The US version will have the complete same structure with the EU version, except the plug type. 2. We update it in the users manual. The minimum separation distance is 0.2 cm. 3. We update it in the users manual. 4. We update it in section 11 of the SAR report. The minimum separation distance is 0.2 cm. 5. Updated in the report. 6. The table is the summary. The detailed information can be found in the following raw testing data.. . Sincerely Yours Daniel Lee EMC/SAR Director
