The EUT has 1 control button and 1 control wheel to command forward, backward, left and right movement of the associated receiver. The client declared that the EUT consists of 40 models as listed in below table. All of them are totally identical including schematics, PCB layouts, electronic component used except the model number and packaging only. Due to the equivalence of EUT, model 757-9023 was provided by client for performing test. www.tuv.com Appendix 6 Prüfbericht - Nr.: Test Report No.: 14041620 001 Seite 1 von 1 Page 1 of 1 Safety Human Exposure – Radio Frequency Exposure Compliance Pass Test Specification : FCC KDB Publication 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06 Requirement : At frequencies below 100 MHz, the following may be considered for SAR test exclusion, and as illustrated in Appendix C:28 a) The power threshold at the corresponding test separation distance at 100 MHz in step 2) is multiplied by [1 + log(100/f(MHz))] for test separation distances > 50 mm and < 200 mm b) The power threshold determined by the equation in a) for 50 mm and 100 MHz is multiplied by ½ for test separation distances ≤ 50 mm c) SAR measurement procedures are not established below 100 MHz. When SAR test exclusion cannot be applied, a KDB inquiry is required to determine SAR evaluation requirements for any test results to be acceptable. Results : max. power of channel = -26.08 dBm = 0.002 mW min. test separation distance < 50mm frequency = 49.86MHz Exclusion threshold = [(3 x 50) / (√0.1)] x [1 + log(100/49.86)] x 1/2 = 310.65 mW Since maximum peak output power of the transmitter is 0.002mW < 310.65 mW, the EUT is excluded from SAR evaluation according to FCC KDB publication 447498 D01 General RF Exposure Guidance v06.
