User Manual Input Model: Electronic Ballast 120-814/ 120-1626 Volt: 120VAC, 60Hz Circuit Description When 120VAC power on,Current through EMI filter L3.Via rectifier D1,D2,D3,D4 rectified. Implement the current transition from AC to DC. Then the half bridge circuit (Q1,Q2,T1) output high frequency AC voltage ,Via output high frequency inductance drive the lamps light. When the lamp has reached end of life, the protection circuit will be start and shut down the ballast , prevent the electronic ballast failure or cause fire. Warning Label WARNING Disconnect line voltage before installing or replacing. Ballast case must be grounded. 120-814/120-1626Block Programand Description 1.Block Program 2.Description Referring to theblock program, thesupplying voltageof 120V/60Hzfrom a conventional AC line is applied to input circuitry which includes aEMIfilter inductorL3 and filter capacitor C3, C9, diodes D1~D4which act as a voltage doubler in a conventional manner providing an output voltage of270~320volts DCandthis voltage is then applied to theinverter (Half-bridge)circuitry which includes transistors Q1 and Q2 and the associated components and to the starter circuitry. When the inverterwork it generate a voltage of600~1200volts/45~55KHz AC passing onthelamp(strike) network and ignitionthe T5 lamps, and after the lamps work steadilythe outputvoltage of inverter reduced to60~110 volts AC. When the lamp has reached end of life or leakage gas, the impedance of PTC protection component PTC1 or PTC2 increase and the lamps will shut down, prevent the electronic ballast failure or causeunexpectedfire. 120V/60Hz Rectifier/ Volt Doubler 270~320VDC Starter Inverter (Half-Bridge) 45~55KHz 600~1200VAC (Strike) 60~110VAC (Steady State) Lamp (Strike) Network/ PTC Protection T5 Lamps Note:120-1626 has another same lamp network..
