Users Manual

READ BEFORE USING THESE INSTRUCTIONS! 1. The pants can be machine washed and dried. Do not wring! 2. The receiver works on electricity or batteries. DO NOT USE IN COMBINATION. 3. It is advisable to place the receiver on some distance from the child, so that he or she has to get out of bed to turn off the receiver. 4. Other nearby transmitters can disturb the bedwetting alarm system. (For example: wireless baby-monitor). Change the frequencies of the other devices or move them if needed. 5. Always remove the transmitter immediately from a wet pant. This extends the life of the battery. Leaving the transmitter on a wet pant might lead to slight discoloration of the pants. 6. Make sure to remove the transmitter from the pants before laundering. The warranty is voided if this occurs. 7. The transmitter and receiver are programmed to be used together. If either part is not working, both must be replaced. 8. Remove the batteries when the bedwetting alarm system is not going to be used for more than several weeks. 9. Do a system test before using for the first time to acquaint yourself with the operation and the sound of the unit. 10. The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. System Test Βƒ Put the receiver into an electrical outlet and turn it on. Βƒ The green light should shine continuously and the red light should flash once when you turn on the unit. Βƒ Connect the two posts of the transmitter with a metal object (scissors, screwdriver). This will cause the wall unit to sound. Βƒ The wall unit can be turned off by pushing the small button on the front. Βƒ When the receiver does not go off, than check the battery in the transmitter. Pants Test Βƒ Take a cup of lukewarm water (body temperature). Βƒ Add a wiped teaspoon of salt, and stir. Βƒ Click the transmitter on the pant. Βƒ Put the receiver in a socket. Βƒ Pour two teaspoons of this salty solution on the front of the pant. This should cause the wall unit to sound. Βƒ After the pants are washed, they become more absorbent. FCC Compliance This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
