Parts List Description Qty. o Amplifier/Antenna unit 1 II. Installation Instructions o Step 1. Place the Magnetic Antenna on the external part of the car on the roof or trunk as shown below. Try to have the antenna as far away as possible from where you will plug the unit in the cigarette lighter plug. o Step 2. Route the cable Route the 15 feet of cable, hiding it whenever possible to keep it out of the way. Run the cable up to the front of the car near the cigarette lighter plug for power. Note The 12-Volt source that is providing power may not turn off when you turn your car off. If this is the case in your car then unplug the unit when vehicle is turned off - or battery will drain, after a few days. o Step 3. Plug in the Amplifier unit Plug in the Amplifier unit into the cigarette plug and turn the car on, the green LED should turn on. Look at the bars on your phone as you plug the unit in Put your phone a few inches away from the Amplifier unit, you should see your bars go up after around 10 seconds; you are now ready to use your phone with enhanced performance. Important o Antenna must first be placed outside the car before you plug the amplifier into the cigarette lighter plug. Important The amplifier needs to be installed at least 20 cm (or approximately 8-in) away from all persons during normal operation to comply with the FCC’s radiofrequency radiation exposure requirement.
