FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION 1. PRODUCT SUMMARY 1.1 PRODUCT INTRODUCTION This specification defines the unique product features and requirements of the model BT-1390 portable Bluetooth AV Adapter. BT-1390 enables you to play the music stored in your Bluetooth cell phone or computers with a Dongle on any Hi-Fi or car stereo via the transmission of Bluetooth technology. BT-1390 is equipped with CSR-BC03 Bluetooth Technology, which can be connected with any audio system. The circuit gives the best audio quality for mobile phones when listening to music from the stereo system. This product is easy to operate, convenient to use and occupies little space. It’s your best choice ever. 1.2 FEATURES SUMMARY 1) Play music on your stereo a.Listen to your music in your cell phone or computer on your home stereo, TV or any appliance with AV input through the transmission of Bluetooth AV Adapter. b.Cell phone and laptops can be the remote control of your home stereo. You can skip the current song, forward to the last song, stop playing the song or pause the song simply by controlling your cell phone or laptops. 2) Connectivity a.Integrated Bluetooth Technology for wireless conenction to the Bluetooth mobile phone. b.Use CSR chipset as the Bluetooth platform. 3)User Friendly Interface a.Easy to set up and simple to use. b.Works with any stereo system or TV. 1.3 PRODUCT AS RECEIVED The complete BT-1390 product shall consist of the following items: Bluetooth AV AdapterRCA cable 1.3.1 Basic unit The unit should have electronics necessary to implement the features specified in this document. 1.3.2 Other accessories (optional) 1)RCA cables 2)Power supply 3)Nokia traveler charger 1.3.3 Literature One(1) Instruction Booklet. 1.4 REQUIRED PRODUCT APPROVALS This product shall be tested for compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements listed below. Testing shall be performed, and reports generated, by a certified test facility. 1.4.1 Bluetooth (BQB) The product shall be designed to have the BQB (Bluetooth Qualification Body) approval. 1.4.2 FCC This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 1.4.3. CE The unit shall be designed and manufactured so that it may be operated in accordance with UL 60950. 1.4.4 RoHS The unit shall be designed and manufactured so that it may be operated in Accordance with RoHS. The regular 9V~15V Adaptor are suitable Plug In standard RCA cable to Your TV or Home Stereo System. 2.1 PRODUCT OUTLOOK 2.2 HOW TO OPERATE Hook up the RCA cables to BT-1390, then connect it with power. Hook the other end of the RCA cables to your home stereo system or any appliances with AV input. Then, pair up BT-1390 with your Bluetooth device. Then, it’s up and ready to go. You are not required to operate BT-1390, once the power it’s on, it’s always in the pairing mode and will pair automatically.. 2.3 POWER Power On Plug in the power supply. Power Off Unplug the power supply. Connecting Bluetooth When the power is on, it’s always on. 2.4 PAIRING Pairing When the unit is On, it’s always in the pairing mode. Follow your mobile phone’s instruction guide to make the mobile phone connect to the unit . Typically, use the mobile phone to find or search model BT-1390. The mobile phone will prompt you to enter a PIN or a password. Enter: 1234. It’s recommended that you confirm to allow this device to connect automatically to your cell phone so that the next time you use BT-1390 it will be paired up by itself without you going through the pairing steps again. 2.5 ADJUST THE VOLUME Adjust the volume from your home stereo system or the appliances that have been connected to this Bluetooth AV Adapter.
