These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: --Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. --Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. --Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. --Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. CAUTION: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the grantee of this device could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. RF exposure warning · The equipment complies with FCC RF exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. The equipment must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Report No. 108148R-RFUSP43V01 Page: 7 of 73 1.2. Operational Description The EUT is a Bluetooth Headset with built-in 2.4GHz Bluetooth V2.1+EDR transceiver. The number of the channels is 79 in 2402-2480MHz. The device adapts the frequency hopping spread spectrum modulation. The antenna is PIFA antenna and provides diversity function to improve the receiving function. The system receivers have input bandwidths that match the hopping channel bandwidths of their corresponding transmitters and shift frequencies in synchronization with the transmitted signals Frequency hopping spread spectrum systems are not required to employ all available hopping channels during each transmission. The transmitter is presented with a continuous data stream. In addition, a system employing short transmission bursts must comply with the definition of a frequency hopping system and must distribute its 79 channels and over the minimum number of hopping channels (75 channels). The incorporation of intelligence within a frequency hopping spread spectrum system that permits the system to recognize other users within the spectrum band so that it individually and independently chooses and adapts its hopsets to avoid hopping on occupied channels is permitted. The coordination of frequency hopping systems in any other manner for the express purpose of avoiding the simultaneous occupancy of individual hopping frequencies by multiple transmitters is not permitted.
RF Exposure Statement 1. Standard Applicable According to 1.1307 (b)(1), systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensure that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commission’s guideline. 2. Measurement Result: This is a portable device and the max peak output power is 7.84 dBm (EIRP), which is equal to 6.08 mW (EIRP). Lower that low threshold (60/f GHz) mW = 25 mW, d <20 cm general population category. The SAR/MPE measurement is not necessary.
