SUCH MODIFICATIONS COULD VOID THE USER’S AUTHORITY TO OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT. !! CAUTION-- To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/property damage: • Do not immerse the product in water or other liquid. Battery Handling and Usage WARNING: Keep batteries away from children and pets. • Do not mix a used battery with a new battery, or mix different chemistries or sizes of batteries. • Insert the batteries observing the proper polarity (+/−) as indicated inside the Battery Compartment. CAUTION: Failure to properly align the battery polarity can cause personal injury and/or property damage. • Never throw batteries into a fire. Do not expose batteries to fire or other heat sources. Installing Batteries of Light: Slide the Power Switch to OFF. Open the Battery Compartment and place four “AAA” size alkaline batteries (not included) into the Battery Compartment according to the polarity indications. Close the Battery Compartment. Replacing Light Switch Battery: 1. Remove the front of the Light Switch as described below. 2. Remove the spent battery and place a new A23, 12-volt, alkaline battery into the Battery Compartment, correctly observing the polarity indications. 3. Replace the front of the Light Switch with the Screws. To Set Up • The Light may be operated without the Light Switch (see “To Use” section). • Both the Light and Light Switch have a key hole for one mounting option. If desired, place the keyhole onto a screw or nail that will safely support the item. APPLICANT: ATICO INTERNATIONAL (ASIA) LTD. FCC ID: VDDATICO01 1. Activate Light Switch battery: a. Remove the Screw Covers from the Light Switch by turning them counterclockwise with a flathead screwdriver. Then, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the Screws (see figure). b. Lift the front of the Light Switch off the back. Pull the plastic tab out of the Battery Compartment and replace the front. 2. Place the Light and the Light Switch in the desired locations. Slide the Power Switch to (ON – Light Switch Operation). NOTE: Maximum range for the Light Switch is 98 ft (30 m) and large metal objects may interfere with the signal. 3. Press one end of the Light Switch to illuminate the Light and the other end to shut off the Light. If the Light does not respond, reposition the Light, the Light Switch, or both. Mount Light and Light Switch Using Adhesives: 1. Stick two Mounting Adhesives onto the back of the Light and the Light Switch. 2. Firmly press the Light and Light Switch against the clean, desired mounting surfaces. Mount Light Switch Using Screws and Anchors: 1. Remove the front of the Light Switch. Place the back of the Light Switch against the mounting surface. Mark the screw holes (two smallest holes in the back). 2. Drill two ¼-inch holes where marked and insert Anchors into the holes. 3. Align the screw holes with the Anchors and secure with two Screws. 4. Replace the front of the Light Switch. To Use 1. Slide the Power Switch to (ON) or (ON – Light Switch Operation). 2. If operating with the Light Switch, press one end of the Switch to illuminate the Light and the other end to shut off the Light. 3. To turn off the Light, slide the Power Switch to OFF. The EUT was transmitting a test signal during the testing. POWER LINE CONDUCTED INTERFERENCE: The test procedure used was ANSI Standard C63.4-2003 using a 50H LISN. Both Lines were observed. The bandwidth of the receiver was 10kHz with an appropriate sweep speed. The ambient temperature of the EUT was 25 with a humidity of 58%. RADIATION INTERFERENCE: The test procedure used was ANSI Standard C63.4-2003 using a ANRITSU spectrum analyzer with a pre-selector. The analyzer was calibrated in dB above a micro volt at the output of the antenna. The resolution bandwidth was 100 kHz and the video bandwidth was 300 kHz up to 1 GHz and 1 MHz with a video BW of 3 MHz above 1 GHz. The ambient temperature of the EUT was 25 with a humidity of 58%. FORMULA OF CONVERSION FACTORS: The Field Strength at 3m was established by adding the meter reading of the spectrum analyzer (which is set to read in units of dBuV) to the antenna correction factor supplied by the antenna manufacturer. The antenna correction factors are stated in terms of dB. The gain of the Pre-selector was accounted for in the Spectrum Analyzer Meter Reading. Example: Freq (MHz) METER READING + ACF = FS 33 20 dBuV + 10.36 dB = 30.36 dBuV/m @ 3m ANSI STANDARD C63.4-2003 10.1.7 MEASUREMENT PROCEDURES: The EUT was placed on a table 80 cm high and with dimensions of 1m by 1.5m. The EUT was placed in the center of the table (1.5m side). The table used for radiated measurements is capable of continuous rotation. When an emission was found, the table was rotated to produce the maximum signal strength. At this point, the antenna was raised and lowered from 1m to 4m. The antenna was placed in both the horizontal and vertical planes. The situation was similar for the conducted measurement except that the table did not rotate.
