INTRODUCTION The “Hound Dogg” consists of a main transmitter, two slim and two key chain, flashlight pagers. The system is upgradeable to up to eight pagers of any either style. Additional pagers and equipment can be purchased at www.honeywherestheremote.com The slim pagers are designed to more easily attach to objects such as remote controls, PDAs, wallets, etc. The flashlight pagers, (although they can be attached to anything you want), they are designed for use with key chains and will not only beep when paged but will also flash. The button on the flashlight pagers can be pressed to activate the flashlight function manually. For all products, replace battery if any part of their function seems to weaken or fail. BATTERIES The “Hound Dogg” base runs on three AAA batteries (not included). The slim pager operates on a single CR2032 lithium coin-cell battery (included). The flashlight pager runs on a two CR2032 lithium coin-cell batteries (included). Battery life will vary depending on how often the transmitter is used to locate missing objects. A test locating should be performed at least once a month to ensure proper function. To replace the batteries: Transmitter; slide battery panel door on back of the transmitter towards the bottom of the device. Slim pager; simply pull out the easy access door and slide in a new battery. Be sure the battery is inserted + side up. Flashlight pager; remove two screws from back side of the pager. Be sure the battery is inserted + side up. OPERATION All pagers are coded alphabetically which corresponds to the alpha labeling on the transmitter. Both Slim and Flashlight pagers are available in A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H, frequencies. To page for a missing object: 1 dial up the corresponding alphabetical frequency 2 press the page button. For example: if the A flashlight pager is attached to your missing keys simply press the up or down arrows until the A indicator is illuminated, press the page button, and listen for the beeping of the missing keys. To avoid false paging the frequency range has been set at 30 feet so it may be necessary to move around and repress the page button to get within range to allow the transmitter and pager to communicate.
