Grant NotesIn-Building DAS Industrial Booster. Power output listed is conducted. This device supports LTE 20MHz and 5G NR 20/40/60/80/100MHz modulation and is capable of transmitting LTE and 5G NR signals simultaneously with maximum combined conducted power rating of 5 Watts. This transmitter operates as a remote unit as part of a system along with base station interface unit as described in this filing, and excluding any other devices connected to the (uplink) transmit output terminal of the base station interface unit. This application covers only the system configuration with base interface unit connected to a base station RF port in the downlink transmit path; operations of this remote unit if any in a system with base interface unit connected to antenna or amplifier for uplink transmissions require separate equipment authorization. This device is authorized to operate only as part of a distributed-antenna booster system installed in buildings. This filing has compliance demonstration information and test data only for SISO (single-input single-output) booster system configurations; additional equipment authorization is required to allow this device to be used in MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) industrial booster systems. Users and installers must be provided with appropriate antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions, including antenna co-location requirements of Sec. 1.1307(b)(3), for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The single unit RF Exposure compliance for the device was based on maximum antenna gain 17 dBi with minimum separation distance 170 cm. RF exposure will be addressed at time of installation and licensing, and the use of higher gain antennas may require larger separation distances.
