Declaration on KDB935210 D02 technical requirements applicability Hereafter analysis on technical requirements cited in KDB 935210 D02 (v04r03), section V, bullet points (j) and (k), to highlight which were considered and evaluated, because applicable, within Part 90 scope and which not. Bullet point (j): sub-point (1): neither considered nor evaluated because it is not applicable because 5W ERP limit is to be verified at the time of installation, whereas output power evaluation in reports was carried out at antenna connector’s level. sub-point (2): neither considered nor evaluated because EUT does not work on 800 MHz band. sub-point (3): neither considered nor evaluated because EUT does not work on 800 MHz NSPAC Public Safety Band (851-854 MHz downlink; 806-809 MHz uplink). sub-point (4): neither considered nor evaluated because EUT does not work on 900 MHz band. sub-point (5): considered and evaluated, alternative was implemented for noise figure test, please refer to RF report. sub-point (6): considered and evaluated because EUT works also on 758-768 MHz band, for references see related Application Form 731, compiled for current certification. Bullet point (k): sub-point (1): considered and evaluated because EUT works also on 758-768 MHz band, please refer to RF report. sub-point (2): neither considered nor evaluated because it is not applicable as it is equipment installation/operation requirement, not a certification requirement. sub-point (3): sub-point (i): considered and evaluated because EUT works also on 758-768 MHz band, please refer to RF report. sub-point (ii): neither considered nor evaluated because it is not applicable as EUT does not work in PS NB spectrum (769-775 MHz or 799-805 MHz).

OUT-OF-BAND/OUT-OF-BLOCK EMISSIONS AND SPURIOUS EMISSIONS RULE PART(S) FCC: §2.1051, §27.53 LIMITS § 2.1051 Measurements required: Spurious emissions at antenna terminals. The radio frequency voltage or powers generated within the equipment and appearing on a spurious frequency shall be checked at the equipment output terminals when properly loaded with a suitable artificial antenna. Curves or equivalent data shall show the magnitude of each harmonic and other spurious emission that can be detected when the equipment is operated under the conditions specified in §2.1049 as appropriate. The magnitude of spurious emissions which are attenuated more than 20 dB below the permissible value need not be specified. § 27.53 Emission limits. (c) For operations in the 746-758 MHz band and the 776-788 MHz band, the power of any emission outside the licensee's frequency band(s) of operation shall be attenuated below the transmitter power (P) within the licensed band(s) of operation, measured in watts, in accordance with the following: (1) On any frequency outside the 746-758 MHz band, the power of any emission shall be attenuated outside the band below the transmitter power (P) by at least 43 + 10 log (P) dB; (2) On any frequency outside the 776-788 MHz band, the power of any emission shall be attenuated outside the band below the transmitter power (P) by at least 43 + 10 log (P) dB; (3) On all frequencies between 763-775 MHz and 793-805 MHz, by a factor not less than 76 + 10 log (P) dB in a 6.25 kHz band segment, for base and fixed stations; (4) On all frequencies between 763-775 MHz and 793-805 MHz, by a factor not less than 65 + 10 log (P) dB in a 6.25 kHz band segment, for mobile and portable stations; (5) Compliance with the provisions of paragraphs (c)(1) and (c)(2) of this section is based on the use of measurement instrumentation employing a resolution bandwidth of 100 kHz or greater. However, in the 100 kHz bands immediately outside and adjacent to the frequency block, a resolution bandwidth of at least 30 kHz may be employed; (6) Compliance with the provisions of paragraphs (c)(3) and (c)(4) of this section is based on the use of measurement instrumentation such that the reading taken with any resolution bandwidth setting should be adjusted to indicate spectral energy in a 6.25 kHz segment. (f) For operations in the 746-758 MHz, 775-788 MHz, and 805-806 MHz bands, emissions in the band 1559-1610 MHz shall be limited to −70 dBW/MHz equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) for wideband signals, and −80 dBW EIRP for discrete emissions of less than 700 Hz bandwidth. For the purpose of equipment authorization, a transmitter shall be tested with an antenna that is representative of the type that will be used with the equipment in normal operation. (g) For operations in the 600 MHz band and the 698-746 MHz band, the power of any emission outside a licensee's frequency band(s) of operation shall be attenuated below the transmitter power (P) within the licensed band(s) of operation, measured in watts, by at least 43 + 10 log (P) dB. Compliance with this provision is based on the use of measurement instrumentation employing a resolution bandwidth of 100 kilohertz or greater. However, in the 100 kilohertz bands immediately outside and adjacent to a licensee's frequency block, a resolution bandwidth of at least 30 kHz may be employed. § 90.543 Emission limitations. Transmitters designed to operate in 769-775 MHz and 799-805 MHz frequency bands must meet the emission limitations in paragraphs (a) through (d) of this section. Class A and Class B signal boosters retransmitting signals in the 769-775 MHz and 799-805 MHz frequency bands are exempt from the limits listed in paragraph (a) of this section when simultaneously retransmitting multiple signals and instead shall be subject to the limit listed in paragraph (c) of this section when operating in this manner. (c) Out-of-band emission limit. On any frequency outside of the frequency ranges covered by the ACP tables in this section, the power of any emission must be reduced below the mean output power (P) by at least 43 + 10log (P) dB measured in a 100 kHz bandwidth for frequencies less than 1 GHz, and in a 1 MHz bandwidth for frequencies greater than 1 GHz. (e) For operations in the 758-768 MHz and the 788-798 MHz bands, the power of any emission outside the licensee's frequency band(s) of operation shall be attenuated below the transmitter power (P) within the licensed band(s) of operation, measured in watts, in accordance with the following: (1) On all frequencies between 769-775 MHz and 799-805 MHz, by a factor not less than 76 + 10 log (P) dB in a 6.25 kHz band segment, for base and fixed stations. (2) On all frequencies between 769-775 MHz and 799-805 MHz, by a factor not less than 65 + 10 log (P) dB in a 6.25 kHz band segment, for mobile and portable stations. (3) On any frequency between 775-788 MHz, above 805 MHz, and below 758 MHz, by at least 43 + 10 log (P) dB. (4) Compliance with the provisions of paragraphs (e)(1) and (2) of this section is based on the use of measurement instrumentation such that the…

In-Building DAS Booster. Output power is conducted. Device supports LTE and 5GNR. This transmitter operates as a remote unit as part of a system along with base station interface unit as described in this filing, and excluding any other devices connected to the (uplink) transmit output terminal of the base station interface unit. This application covers only the system configuration with base interface unit connected to a base station RF port in the uplink transmit path; operations of this remote unit if any in a system with base interface unit connected to antenna or amplifier for uplink transmissions require separate equipment authorization. This device is authorized to operate only as part of a distributed-antenna booster system installed in buildings. This filing has compliance demonstration information and test data only for SISO (single-input single-output) booster system configurations; additional equipment authorization is required to allow this device to be used in MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) industrial booster systems. The single unit RF Exposure compliance for the device using an 17dBi antenna below 1GHz requires a minimum separation distance between person and the antenna of 360cm. Users and installers must be provided with appropriate antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions, including antenna co-location requirements of Sec. 1.1307(b)(3), for satisfying RF exposure compliance. RF exposure will be addressed at time of installation, and the use of higher gain antennas may require larger separation distances.
