WET/DRY VACUUM CLEANER OPERATOR’S MANUAL 56-VOLT LITHIUM-ION WET/DRY VACUUM CLEANER MODEL NUMBER C1013/WDV0900XXX WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, the user must read and understand the Operator’s Manual before using this product. Save these instructions for future reference. Model difference: Model WDV0900XXX is identical to model C1013 except for the model number. Note: The first “X” indicates “-”, “_” or “.” or even omitted; the second and third “X” stands for the random combination from alphabet A to Z or omitted. SAFETY SYMBOLS The purpose of safety symbols is to attract your attention to possible dangers. The safety symbols and the explanations with them deserve your careful attention and understanding. The symbol warnings do not, by themselves, eliminate any danger. The instructions and warnings they give are no substitutes for proper accident prevention measures. WARNING: Be sure to read and understand all safety instructions in this Operator’s Manual, including all safety alert symbols such as “DANGER”, “WARNING”, and “CAUTION” before using this machine. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.  The appliance is intended for household use only.  Do not leave the appliance when the battery pack is installed on the appliance. Remove the battery pack from the appliance when not in use or before servicing.  Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.  Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.  If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.  Do not handle appliance with wet hands.  Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.  Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.  Turn off all controls before removing the battery pack.  Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.  Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.  Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes. To reduce the risk of health hazards from vapors or dusts, do not vacuum any toxic materials.  Do not use this vacuum cleaner for EPA Lead Based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting Program (RRP), where lead may be present. Using this vacuum cleaner for EPA RRP program may cause health and environmental hazards.  Do not use to vacuum hazardous or toxic substances or dusts, e.g., asbestos. The standard filter is not able to capture all hazardous particles, which may cause health hazards.  Do not use to vacuum concrete dust and/or other materials that include silica. The filter is not able to capture all silica dust, which may cause health hazards.  Do not use or store near hazardous materials.  Do not use without dust bag and/or filters in place.  Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or energizing appliance that has the switch on invites accidents.  Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing appliance. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the appliance accidentally.  Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.  Use the appliance only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.  When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips,…
