The NTG5*1 can distract your attention from the tra ffic conditions. You could cause an accident and place y ourself and others in danger.- Always devote your complete attention to the traff ic situation.- Only operate the NTG5*1 when traffic and driving conditions are appropriate.- Only change discs while the vehicle is stationary.- Set the volume to a level that allows you to hear important sounds outside the vehicle e.g. horns, sirens and a larms. Warning! The NTG5*1 is a Class 1 laser product. There is a r isk of damage to the eyes from invisiblelaser radiation if the housing is opened or if it i s faulty or damaged.- Do not open the housing.- Do not remove any covers.- Do not carry out any repairs to the device. If nec essary, the device must be repaired by a suitably qualified rep airer. Protective circuits The NTG5*1 includes protective circuits that preven t damage to the device as far as possible:- If the supply voltage is too low or too high, or i f the NTG5*1 becomes too hot, the NTG5*1 will switch off automatically.- In case of a failure of the disconnect device, rep lace the fuse in the back of the equipment for another fuse of the same value, 15A.Never open the NTG5*1 yourself in the event of a fa ult! Take the faulty appliance to be repaired by a compe tent specialist repairer. We recommend that you use a service center for this work as this will ensure that trained workshop staff and the necessary parts and tools will be available. For that reason the equipment is categorically excluded from routine environmental evaluation for RF exposure and it is deemed to comply with FCC and IC limits for exposure to electromagnetic fields.
