2T8000US ASSET / VEHICLE TAG Product Information Sheet The Protrac series 2 Active Tags are powered by an internal lithium battery. The tag will, for the duration of its life, transmit a Radio Frequency (RF) signal at a pre- set time interval. The tag life is estimated at 5 years. The transmitted tag data includes Customer Site Code (CSC), Tag ID, Tag Age Counter Value, Movement Alarm and Tamper Alarm status. For protection against adverse environmental conditions, Protrac Asset Tags are encapsulated in a moulded plastic case, which is ultrasonically sealed during the manufacturing process. The 2T8000US tag is generally used for Asset tagging applications and is ideally suited for operating on metallic surfaces (or plastics containing a high metal content). Optional Extras: in-built tamper switch for alarm upon tag removal, motion sensing alarm, temperature sensor for reporting ambient temperature. Description Features · Active 24 x 7 · High Impact resistent UV stabalised PVC constructions. · Transmission unaffected by materials in the surrounding environment. · Easily fixed to all surfaces including metal. · Convenient size (60mm x 29mm x 13mm) for application to large and small assets. · Tags attached to road transport, rolling stock and cargo are monitored at speeds up to 220kph. · Can be read by fixed, mobile or hand held receivers.
