Users Manual

SP-88 CASSETTE PLAYER WITH BT TRANSMITTER User Manual Please read this manual carefully before operating the speaker. Please keep this manual with you for further reference. BATTERY SUPPLY AND SAFETY WARNING BATTERY SUPPLY This unit is supplied with a rechargeable battery. Connect the unit by USB cord through the charge port, and plug the adaptor (not included) into the AC wall outlet. While charging, the indicator light will flash red light , once the red light stops flashing, the unit is fully charged. WARNING 1. Do not expose battery to excessive heat, such as strong sunlight or fire. 2. Do not charge the battery with the adaptor for more than 24 hours. 3. When charging the battery for the first time, charge it for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. 4. Use only the supplied rechargeable battery. HEARING SAFETY Caution Top prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. Set the volume to a safe level. The louder the volume, the shorter the safe listening time. Be sure to observe the following guidelines when using your earphone: 1. Listen at reasonable volumes for reasonable periods of time. 2. Be careful not to adjust the volume continuously upwards as your hearing can be damaged. 3. Do not turn up the volume so high that you can not hear what is around you. 4. You should temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations. 5. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphone can cause hearing loss. 1 OPERATING INSTRUCTION 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 1. MlC: For recording from speaking or music to tape. 2. TYPE-C PORT: This is where you will plug in the included Type-C charging cable to keep your cassette player charged. 3. INDICATOR LIGHT: This light provides visual cues about the unit status, such as charging or pairing mode. 4. HEADPHONE JACK: Plug in headphone here. 5. FUNCTION BUTTON: Slide this switch to choose function - TAPE, Bluetooth transmitter (TX) or Bluetooth connect mode (RX). 6. VOLUME: Roll this switch to adjust the volume. 7. STOP: Press to stop the tape. 8. FF/REW: Press to fast forward or rewind the tape. 9.RECORD: Press to start recording on the tape. 10. PLAY MODE: Slide this switch to the left side, the tape will play the opposite side automatically when one side has finished. Slide the switch to right side, the tape will stop when both sides have finished. 11.DlR: Select the direction of tape playback. if you want to play the other side of the tape without ejecting then you can use this button. 12. PLAY: Press to play the tape.In TX&Rx mode, press this button to exit power saving mode. 2 BLUETOOTH PAIRING Slide the switch to RX position(blue lightflashing). On your smartphone search for "SP-88" on the device list and pair.Once connected, the blue light will stopflashing and music will play through the unit. BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER 1. In TAPE playback mode,slide the switch to TX position(green light flashing), indicating it enters bluetooth out mode. 2. Turn on your device (like a Bluetooth speaker) and select bluetooth mode in yourdevice’ssetting, then the TAPE player will automaticallybe paired with your device, if it is successfully connected, the green light will stopflashing, and the music will be played through your device.
