FCC ID: XO8-HALOM418 rev. 001 Instant Care Halo Transmitter Model #: HaloM418TX-1 • Identifying the Parts 1. Emergency Button • Learning-in the Halo Transmitter Press the Emergency button, a radio signal will be transmitted to the Control Panel. Please refer to the learn-in procedure of your PERS Console for further instruction. • Operation  To Trigger an Emergency, Call on your PERS Console: Press and hold the Emergency button for 1 second and release. The device will transmit the message to the PERS Console.  Sleep Mode: -The Halo Transmitter ships in “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery life -Pressing the Emergency Button once will cause the Transmitter to exit Sleep Mode • Battery & Electrical Specifications  Frequency: 418MHz  Battery: CR2032, 3V 230mAh  Battery life: Approximately 3 years  Open Field Range: Approximately 250+ ft  Low battery status: when the device battery is detected to be below the threshold, a low battery signal is transmitted to the PERS console every 6 hours. FCC Statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. FCC Caution To assure continued compliance, any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance may void the user’s authority to operate his equipment. (Example – use only shielded interface cables when connecting to computer or peripheral devices) FCC Section 15.105 Information to the user. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
