Reed Switch • Learning-in the Temperature Sensor Swipe a magnet across the reed switch, the device will begin transmitting Refer to your Control Panel’s user guide for further information on the learn-in procedure • Operation ➢ Normal Operation: The device will sample the temperature every 30 minutes to determine if it’s within the preprogrammed temperature range. ➢ Alert Mode: If the temperature is detected to be outside of the preprogrammed temperature range, it will transmit the appropriate message to Control Panel, based on the temperature reading. • Battery & Electrical Specifications ➢ Frequency: 418 MHz ➢ Battery: CR123A, 3V 1550mAh ➢ Battery life: Typical life expectancy of 3 yrs. ➢ Open Field Range: Approximately 500 ft. ➢ Low battery status: when the battery voltage is below the threshold, the Temperature Sensor will transmit a low battery to the Control Panel. A supervisory message will be sent during a low battery state once every 1.5 hours. FCC Statement This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
