Your ekt has three parts: • The key unit (A), which holds the key ring; • The belt unit (B), which securely aaches to any belt or ulity belt • Key ring (C) sold separately To aach belt unit to belt or ulity belt: 1 Place the metal clip inward, or to- wards the user’s body, onto the top of the belt 2 Push down unl metal clip *ts snug- ly around the belt and belt is com-pletely within metal clip 3 When secured, the metal clip should form a loop around the belt to prevent it from sliding up and off To aach key unit to belt unit: 1 First make sure the key unit front is facing outward, or away from the user’s body, and that the key ring is at the boom of the key unit 2 Place the key unit down into the belt unit such that hole in the key unit mates with the hook on the inside of the belt unit 3 The key unit will then click and lock securely in place To remove the key unit from the belt unit: 1. Grasp the keys with your hand; at the same me, using your thumb, press the top buon and pull keys up and away from the body 2. As the units separate, the strobe light on the key unit will flash one me indicang both units are acve and alarms are set If alarm signals begin immediately, check for matching serial numbers If they connue to signal, replace baeries If problem persists, contact ekt customer support To store the key unit in a key cabinet: 1. Remove the key unit from the belt 2. A4er the strobe light flashes, place the key unit in the docking staon 3. The key and belt units will then beep 35 indicang that the units are un-paired and ready for storage 4. The belt unit is turned off and is ready to receive any previously stored (un-paired) key unit 5. The key unit enters a low-power storage mode Upon removal, the user has 10 seconds to re-holster the key unit else its alarm will sound Upon successful re-holster, the key unit will beep two mes 6. A key unit that alarms because it was not re-holstered will reset itself a4er 10 seconds of alarming Alarm Signals If the key unit and the belt unit are sepa-rated by more than 5 - 8 steps, four alarms will start: 1 The belt unit emits a strong vibra- on and audible chirp alarm 2 The key unit emits an 85 decibel audio alarm and a bright LED strobe light All warning alarm signals connue unl the key unit is safely reaached to the belt unit Replacing Batteries Your ekt runs on two standard AAA baeries with an average life of = months When 80> of baeries’ power is spent, a chirp alerts users that they need to be replaced It is recommended that you replace the baery in both the belt and key units at the same me to ensure connuity Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws on the back of the belt unit and back of the key unit Once the screws are removed, the baery doors will come off Replace baeries and screw the doors onto both units Troubleshooting & Warnings This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and if not used in accordance with the instruc-ons, may cause harmful interference to radio or television recepon, which can be determined by turning the unit on and off The user is encouraged to aempt correcng the interference by increasing the separaon between the ekt units and the affected device or consult Tether Technologies for tech-nical help Refer to: hp:AAwww access gpo govAnaraAcfrAcfr-retrieve html#page1 Title CD CFR; Part 15, Eecon 105 Cauon: Changes or modi*caons to ekt ’s RF hardware that are not e5press- ly approved by Tether Technologies, Inc could void both the user’s authority to operate the equipment and the product warranty NOTICES OF COMPLIANCE This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules Operaon is subFect to the following two condions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interfer-ence received, including interference that may cause undesired operaon This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules These limits are designed to provide reasonable protec-on against harmful interference in a residenalA commercial use environ-ment FCC ID labels are located inside the baery compartments of both units Product Warranty & Support Your ekt v2 is covered by a limited war- ranty To be eligible, you must register your ekt within 30 days of purchase at www stopkeyloss comAsupport In brief: The warranty covers any defects or mal-funcons in your new ekt and lasts for a for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase Tether Technologies will replace any defecve or malfunconing part or if the unit is determined to be non-repairable, provide you with a replacement ekt , all at no charge Baeries, or any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse, or an act of God (such as a flood) are not covered Also, conse-quenal and incidental damages are not recoverable Eome states do not allow the e5clusion or limitaon of incidental or consequenal damages, so the above limitaon or e5clusion may not apply to you www.StopKyLo.com Electronic Key Tether

24 Roy Street ∙ Suite 25 ∙ Seattle, WA 98109 234.206.0304 External Photos Fig 1 – Transceiver Key Location System Overview Tether Technologies’ device consists of 2 parts or units: a Belt Unit to be worn on the user’s belt and the Key Unit to be placed on the key ring shown in Figure 1 above and holstered into the Belt Unit. Chip antennas are soldered to each unit’s circuit board and are fully enclosed in the plastic housing. Power is provided by one ‘AAA’ size battery in each unit. When the units are together, a magnetic sensor detects the opposite unit’s magnet enclosed in the plastics and places the unit in a low power mode. Units are detached from one another by depressing a button that is located on the top of the Key Unit, at which time both units power on. Additional views of the Key Unit are shown in Figures 2-5 below. 24 Roy Street ∙ Suite 25 ∙ Seattle, WA 98109 234.206.0304 External Photos, page 2 Fig 2 – Front side of Key Unit 24 Roy Street ∙ Suite 25 ∙ Seattle, WA 98109 234.206.0304 External Photos, page 3 Fig 3 – Underside of Key Unit 24 Roy Street ∙ Suite 25 ∙ Seattle, WA 98109 234.206.0304 External Photos, page 4 Fig 4 – Top view of Key Unit Fig 5 – Bottom view of Key Unit

SCOPE For details on the Scopes of our Accreditations, please visit: http://www.nwemc.com/accreditations/ Report No. TETH0001.24/80 MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY TMU.2014.12.03 Measurement Uncertainty When a measurement is made, the result will be different from the true or theoretically correct value. The difference is the result of tolerances in the measurement system that cannot be completely eliminated. To the extent that technology allows us, it has been our aim to minimize this error. Measurement uncertainty is a statistical expression of measurement error qualified by a probability distribution. A measurement uncertainty estimation has been performed for each test per our internal quality document WP 342. The estimation is used to compare the measured result with its "true" or theoretically correct value. The expanded measurement uncertainty (K=2) for each test is on each data sheet. Our measurement data meets or exceeds the measurement uncertainty requirements of the applicable specification; therefore, the test data can be compared directly to the specification limit to determine compliance. The calculations for estimating measurement uncertainty are based upon ETSI TR 100 028 (or CISPR 16-4-2 as applicable), and are available upon request. The following table represents the Measurement Uncertainty (MU) budgets for each of the tests that may be contained in this report.
