Dave comes complete with a specially designed remote control, giving you complete control of his personality. Using the remote couldn’t be easier... Press one of the four different mode buttons (Conversation Mode, Greeting Mode, Puppet Mode and Action Mode) to select the type of action you want Dave to perform. Within each of these different modes, there are a number of behaviours that can be activated. Use the keypad to select the action you want Dave to perform and then watch as he struts his stuff! Dave offers over 30 different behaviours. By pressing the keypad multiple times, further actions can be activated. A full list of Dave’s behaviours are listed on the following page... Learning all of Dave’s actions will take a little bit of time. That’s why we included some “Magic Buttons” to get you started. Magic Buttons are basically shortcuts for some of Dave’s behaviours. Press and hold down one of the mode buttons and Dave will spring into life and perform one of his signature moves. Each of the four mode buttons has its own behaviour meaning you’ll never be short of things to do! Note: The Remote Control features an internal antenna. Avoid covering the top of the Remote as this may affect its performance. Dave loves nothing more than sitting on peoples shoulder’s. But he wouldn’t want to fall off... Thats why this pack also includes a “Monkey Shoulder-Support” to ensure that Dave travels in comfort and style. Attaching the Shoulder-Support couldn’t be easier. Simply place the cushioned pad on your shoulder and position Dave on top. The hook and loop tabs will ensure Dave doesn’t slide around. Then, loop the straps around your shoulder and underneath your arm. Make sure the monkey is sitting comfortably and then attach the hook and loop tabs on the strap. Remove the battery cover on the reverse of the handset using a philips-head screwdriver. Then install 2 x AAA (1.5V) batteries according to the polarity shown. (Figure 1) Figure 1 Figure 2 Open the base of the monkey to expose the battery cover. Then, using a philips-head screwdriver, remove the cover and install 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries according to the polarity shown.
