Quick Start Guide Wireless Receiver and Transmitter SDSWiTX and SDSWiRX Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Sunfire Dynamic Series Wireless SDSWiTX Transmitter or SDSWiRX Receiver. This wireless system allows an SDS series subwoofer to be added to a system, without the need to run long cables the subwoofer. The SDSWiTX transmitter receives the line-level subwoofer/LFE signal from the Home Theater or stereo system’s preampli- fier or receiver. It then transmits it digitally to the SDS WiRX receiver located close to the subwoofer. Contents • One SDSWiTX Transmitter or • One SDSWiRX Receiver • One detachable AC/DC power adapter • One short patch RCA cord Unpacking Your Sunfire product should reach you in perfect condition. If you do notice any shipping damage, please contact your Sunfire Dealer immediately. Gently lift out the unit and all accessories, and remove all the packing material. It is important to save all the packing materials and the box in case your unit ever needs to be moved or shipped for repair. Make sure that you keep your sales receipt. It is the only way to establish the duration of your Limited Warranty and it may come in useful for insurance purposes. Care To clean the unit, first unplug the AC adapter’s power cord and then use a soft dry cloth to clean the surfaces. LINK Button (Tx) This button is used in the intial set- ting-up, to establish a link between the transmitter and one or more receivers. 2. Transmit LED (Tx) Turns on when transmitting signals to the receiver(s). 3. Power LED Turns on when the supplied AC/DC adapter is connected. 4. Receive LED (Rx) Turns on when receiving signals from the transmitter. 5. Subwoofer LFE Input (Tx) This line-level RCA input connects to the subwoofer/LFE output of a home theater or stereo system’s subwoofer/LFE output. A short RCA cable is supplied. 6. Power Input Connect to the DC output of the supplied AD/DC adapter. The voltage input is + 5V dc on the pin, at 0.5A 7. Subwoofer LFE Output (Rx) This line-level RCA output con- nects to the subwoofer/LFE input of a Sunfire SDS subwoofer. A short RCA cable is supplied.
