DN-24 MIST MAKER UNIT USER MANUAL This unit utilizes electrical oscillation at ultras onic frequencies. The ceramic changes electrical oscillation into mechanical osci llation, which creates the mist and water spray. This oscillation also produces neg ative ions, which help to freshen air and the mist will add humidity to a roo m. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS, READ BEFORE INITITAL OPERATION 1. For indoor use only, must disconnect the power supp ly before moving or maintenance. 2. Use only the transformer supplied with the product. 3. Do not touch the ceramic of mist maker while the mi st maker operating. 4. Do not touch water level sensor of mist maker while remove mist unit. 5. Must keep the transformer and the electrical plug c onnector to dry. 6. Do not place the mist maker into a hermetic contain er while in operation. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1. Place the mist maker unit into a water container pl acidly. There should be only approximately 3.5cm of water above the ceramic disc of mist unit.(If the unit is too deep under the water, it will not produce the mist. Meantime if water is not enough to drown the crossbeam of water level sensor, it wi ll stop working automatically) 2. Carefully plug in the connector to the power flex f rom the transformer . 3. Plug the transformer unit into the AC power socket. The mist may produce immediately after correcting fixing. GENERAL SUGGESTIONS FOR OPTIMUM USE 1. Connect the mist maker unit with the timer, ensure the mist maker unit remove in the appointed time. 2. The mist maker unit sends up small jets of water wh ile in operation. Should keep itβs distance from household appliances and articles tha t easy to be affected with damp. 3. Use of clean water is recommended. When the water i s dirty, change it with clean water in time .(dirty water will affect production the mist) 4. Do not use household abrasive cleaners on any part of the mist unit. You may clear it with soft cloth in clean water. MAINTENANCE & CERAMIC REPLACEMENT PLEASE NOTE * * CERAMIC REPLACEMENT KIT SOLD SEPARA TELY After operating the mist unit for some time, you ma y notice a decrease in the amount of mist produced or it may stop working alto gether. At that time, you should either clean or replace the ceramic disc. a. Unplug the unit and remove from water container. b. Using the keytool, insert the key into the winding ring and turn counter clockwise. c. Remove the ceramic. IMPORTANT: note that there is a front and back of t he ceramic. Be sure to reinstall with the correct side (no black color rin g side) facing up. d. Clean chemical deposits on the ceramic with a soft cloth and re-install or proceed to install a new ceramic in the reverse order of the a bove. Refer to the drawing. e. The inside area of the unit cavity must be complete ly dry before the parts are installed. f. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to o perate the equipment.
