1 INDOOR / OUTDOOR SUPER SWITCH Wireless Remote Control Wall Outlets Set of 2 Indoor / Outdoor Outlets and Hand‐Held Remote Package Includes: (2) Wireless Wall Outlet Receivers (Receiver Units) (1) Two Button Hand‐Held Remote Control (Sender Unit) (1) Car Visor Clip (1) 12V Type 23A battery Features: The Super Switch operates on radio frequency and is not dependent on line of sight and will perform through walls, doors and floors up to 60 feet away. No rewiring is required. Car visor clip included for convenience. Ideal for outdoor holiday and decorative lighting, porch and patio, landscape lighting, fountains and more. Super Switch is also suitable for indoor applications that you wish to manage with the convenience of remote control. Operation: Remove Tape From Battery Chamber. Remove battery cover on Hand‐Held Remote Control unit and remove protective tape. Re‐install battery cover. Plug in Outdoor Receiver Units. Plug the individual wall receiver units into any standard grounded outdoor 115V/60Hz wall outlet. Remember, the outdoor receiver requires a grounded outlet. If you do not have an outdoor grounded outlet, you should contact an electrician to upgrade your electrical system for your safety. Mount Outdoor Receiver Units. Hang outdoor receiver with nails or screws (not included). There is a keyhole on the back of the receiver for this purpose. DO NOT allow outdoor receiver to hang loose by cord. The outdoor receiver MUST be oriented with the power outlet down to prevent rain from entering the unit through the plug. Always mount the outdoor receiver unit with the plug receptacle facing down. The outdoor receiver must be located below the wall outlet to prevent rain from running down the cord into the wall outlet. DO NOT position the outdoor receiver flat on the ground because the outdoor receiver is NOT water proof or submersible. Note: The National Electrical Code and Canadian Electrical Code require that outside outlets be protected by a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI). Operation and Safety. Use only 1 Super Switch Receiver per outdoor AC outlet. A distance of 24 inches should be maintained between individual receiver units. Do not overload individual Super Switch receiver units beyond 1000 watts. Maximum output load: 125V/60Hz/8A. The outdoor receiver is water resistant, NOT water proof or submersible. Therefore, reasonable care should be taken to insure the outdoor receiver is correctly mounted or positioned according to the above instructions. Maximum capacity 1000W. DO NOT EXCEED 125V/8A/1000W. Outdoor Receiver Function. The Red LED (ON) will illuminate when outdoor receiver power is ON. If the Red LED (ON) does not illuminate check to be sure your outdoor wall outlet is powered ON. Remote Control Functions. The Hand‐Held Remote Control unit has a single Red LED indicator light that shows the radio signal has been sent. The Hand ‐Held Remote Control has two buttons marked ONE and TWO respectively. Each button corresponds to a specific wall outlet receiver. Each of the individual receivers is clearly labeled ONE or TWO to correspond to the buttons on the Hand‐Held Remote Control unit. Pressing the buttons on the Hand‐Held Remote Control turns the power ON or OFF at the corresponding receiver. Car Visor Clip. (optional) The Hand‐Held Remote Control is equipped with a removable car visor clip for added convenience. The car visor clip may be removed to allow the Hand‐Held Remote Control to lie flat on table tops or other surfaces. To attach the car visor clip, slide the flat metal end into the slot on the top of the Hand‐Held Remote Control. To remove the car visor clip, gently pull out from the top slot on the Hand‐Held Remote Control. Battery Replacement. If operation of the wall receiver units becomes erratic, it may be necessary to replace the battery in the hand‐held remote sending unit. To do this, first remove the battery compartment cover. Next, remove the depleted battery and discard according to local ordinances. Be sure to correctly reinstall the new battery. The negative (‐) end of the battery (marked on the battery label) is inserted into the battery compartment first toward the spring marked with the negative (‐) symbol inside the battery compartment. Slide positive (+) end of battery down next into the battery compartment. Replace battery compartment cover.
