Installation - While installing and changing the bulb, please cut off the power in order to guarantee the security. - Don't connect the lamp to a dimmer circuit. - Don't install inside a recessed area in the wall. - Don't use lids without ventilation openings. - Don't cover with a glass bowl. FCC Information 1. This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules. 2. Information on the following matters shall be provided to the user in the Instruction manual: (a) The interference potential of the device or system; (b) Maintenance of the system; (c) Simple measures that can be taken by the user to correct interference; (d) Manufacturers of RF lighting devices must provide an advisory statement, either on the product packaging or with other user documentation, similar to the following: This product may cause interference to radio equipment and should not be installed near maritime safety communications equipment or other critical navigation or communication equipment operating is between 0. 43 kHz and 30 kHz. Variations of this language are permitted provided all the points of the statement are addressed. Safety cautions: - Use only in indoor areas. - Don't use as emergency lighting. - To avoid electrical shock, don't install in damp or wet locations. - Don't touch the lamp directly with your hand or face when it is in use to avoid burns. - If the lamp is damaged, replace it by a new one and don't try to repair it in order to avoid hazards. - If this lamp should be replaced by a heavier one, please take care that the mechanical stability of the luminaire could be impaired by the increased weight. - Energy saving lamps contain a small amount of quicksilver/mercury and meet ROHS. Nevertheless the toxicity of this small amount requires a disposal as hazardous waste. - In the case a lamp breaks, there is no direct risk for the healthiness, but please don’t touch powdery substances and improve air ventilation.
