Open the battery compartment cover at back side. Insert one “23A 12V” battery (included). Follow diagram in battery box for proper orientation. (Do not mix old and new batteries; do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries). 3. Close battery compartment cover. 4. It will come back every day at the same time as originally set and stay on for 6 hours each time. * For example: If you want the light strand to come on every day at 5pmyou need to turn the power switch to timer at 5pm. It will then come on every day at 5pmand stay lit until 11pm (6) Color #2 with Timer – this will keep the lights in multi option for 6 hours and then switch off for 18 hours.
