LS Wireless Charger User Manual Product features Primary features of the wireless charger A. Convenient charging Your handset can be charged without directly connecting to the charging terminal. B. Charge time Charge time is the same as with a wired charger. C. Compatibility Any product attached with a WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) QI logo can be used interchangeably, regardless of the manufacturer. D. Charging status display The charging status will be displayed on the LED screen for your convenience. E. USB charging and data communication support Using the standard micro USB data cable, the handset can be charged and synchronized using a desktop or laptop without removing the receiver. Basic instructions Charger Connect the adapter to the charger. Connect the adapter to the existing household current or electrical wall outlet. Receiver Mount the smart-phone handset on the receiver. Put the smart-phone handset attached with a receiver on the charger. LED display on the charger Green LED flash: Normal charging Green LED on: Charging completed Red LED on: The receiver has been placed incorrectly, or a communication error has occurred. (Remove the receiver from the charger and put it on again to initialize.) 12 Safety precautions 1. Use this electrical product in a place with no fire or humidity. 2. Check whether the smart-phone handset (receiver) is charged properly. 3. If not charged properly, check whether the adapter is connected properly, and check whether the smart-phone handset (receiver) is too far out of the center of the charger. 4. Use the standard adapter enclosed with the product only. Otherwise, the product life can be reduced or malfunction may occur. If any consumables or accessories not approved by LS Cable & System are used, the user’s safety cannot be guaranteed. Precautions related to electrical power - Do not use the damaged power cord or plug, or loosened outlet. - Do not touch the power plug with wet hands, or plug out the power cord using excessive power. - Do not bend or break the power cord through excessive power. - Do not use the handset while it is charging, or touch the handset with wet hands. Precautions related to electromagnetic wave - Make sure to use the accessories or consumables provided by LS Cable & System, in order to guarantee safety of the user according to the Standard to Protect the Human Body from Electromagnetic Waves of the Korea Communications Commission. Precautions related to the product’s place of use - Use the product carefully when electronic products are used. - Most electronic products use the electromagnetic waves. Therefore, the product’ s electromagnetic waves may cause malfunction of other electronics. - Turn off the product in any area in danger of explosion. Also, turn off the product in places where a warning sign about use of such products appears. 34 (Prohibited action to prevent electric shock, fire, or explosion) Correct storage and use Keep the product in a dry place without water or moisture. Moisture or fluid can cause damage to product parts and circuits. If the product is wet, don’t turn on the power. Clean the product with dry towels and bring it to the service center. If the product is wet or soaked with water or fluid, the flooding label color will be changed. Be advised that the product cannot be repaired free of charge, if the product is broken due to these reasons. Do not use or keep the product in a dusty or dirty place. Do not keep the product on a slippery surface. If the product drops, the product may break or malfunction. Use the product within the temperature range of 0°C~+55°C, and do not keep the product at too low or high temperatures. The temperature inside a car can go up to 80°C. As such, the product can explode in a car or enclosed place. Do not keep the product with metallic objects like a coin, key, or necklace. The product can become deformed or broken. Do not place the product near any place with magnetism or under the influence of magnetism. If you place the product with magnetic objects, the product may malfunction due to magnetism. The information in the product that uses magnetism such as a credit card, phone card, bank passbook, or passenger ticket, can be damaged by magnetism. Be careful not to drop the product or apply external shock. The product can be bent or the appearance can be distorted when twisted, or internal parts can be broken. Be careful to prevent children, infants, or pets from sucking or biting the product. It may be the cause of damage to the product. When the product is used by the child, ensure that the proper handling and methods of use are followed. Do not put the product in a rear pants pocket, or wear the product on your back. The product may break, or the user may be hurt if they fall. Do not modify, disassemble, or repair the product without permission. If the product is modified, disassembled, or repaired without permission, free warranty may not apply. For product repair, make sure to contact the service center designated by LS Cable & System. If you drill a hole in the product with a sharp object like an awl or tack, or disassemble the product, electric shock, explosion, or fire may occur. Do not color the product. If colored, the closing and opening part may not move or work properly. Abide by the following methods when cleaning the product. Clean the product lightly, using a soft cloth. Scrub the product and connector terminal with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Do not use chemicals or detergents when cleaning the product.
