Energy efficent T4/T5 linksble slimline fittings SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION MODELS NH-2A-14W(T5)、NH-2A-21W(T5)、NH-2A-28W(T5)、NH-2A-35W(T5)、NH-2A-28W(T4)、NH-2A-30W(T4)、 Pack cotents: 1 X Electtonic fluorescent fitting 1 x Mounring kit with butt connector This light fitting must be installed in accordance with the Building Regulations.These may be obtained frou HMSO or viewed and downloaded from www.saunter.com.cn following the link for Building Regukatins. Instrutions: 1. Switch off the mains before cmmencing installation and remove the appropriate circuit fuse. 2. Do not connect to a circuit which also has inductive loads.This may damage electronic components within your fitting. 3. This product is suitable for installation on surfaces with normal flammability (indicated by the F in a triangle)e.g.wood,plasterboard,masonry.It is NOT suitable for installation on highly flammable surfaces (e.g.polystyrene,textiles). 4. Before making fixing hole(s),check that there aie no obstructions hidden beneath the mornting surface such as pipesor cables. 5. If the location of your new fitting requires the provision of a new electrical supply,the supply must conform with the requirements of the Buiding Regulations. 6. This product is designed for permanent connection to fixed wiring:this should be either a suitable lighting circuit(protected with a 5or6Amp MCB or fuse)or a fused spur(with a 3 Ampfuse)via a fused connection unit.Werecommend that the supply incorporates a switch for ease of operation. 7. You are advised at every stage of your installation to double-check any electrical connections you have made.After you hace completed your installation there are electrical tests that should be carried out:these tests are specified in the Wiring Regulations(BS7671)referred to in the Building Regulations .If in doubt,consult a qualified electrician. How many fittings can be linked together? 10 fittings can be linked with 14 watt and 21 watt fittings 8 fittings can be linked 28 watt with 30 watt fittings 3 fittings can be linked with 35 watt fittings Warning:This device complies with Part 18 of FCC rules. Altering or adapting any of the leads,other than shortening the supply lead will invalidate your guarantee and could present a severe electrical shock hazard. Cleaning: · Clean this light fitting only with a soft dry cloth. · The diffuser may be removed and washed in a mild detergent solution.Make sure the diffuser is completely dry before putting back on your light fitting. · Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaners. Lamp Teplacement: · Switch off electricity at the mains. · Life off the diffuser. · Rotate the lamp through approximately 90°and withdraw from the tube holders. · Insert new lamp and rotate to lock in position. · Restore power supply and tum on. Replacement lamp type: Wattage:14W,21W,28W,30W, 35W Supply Voltage:120V 50/60Hz Size:T4/T5 Eventually you may want to replace this light fitting: When your light fitting comes to the end of its life or you chose to update by replacing it,please do not dispose of this fitting,checkwith your retailer or local authority for suitable options.New regulations will encourage the recycling of waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (European ‘WEEE’ Directive effective August 2005). If you experience any problems: If your light is defective or develops a fault,please return it to where you bought it.If in doubt,consult a qualified electrician. This product may cause interference to radio equipment and should not be installed near maritime safety communications equipment or other critical navigation or communication equipment operating between 0.45–30 MHz.
