Backup & Restore 78 Ba Ckup & r estore about backing up and restoring smart phone data It recommends that you regularly create and save a backup file on the Storage card, especially before you update any software. Maintaining a current backup file on Storage memory might allow you to recover smart phone data if your smart phone is lost, stolen, or corrupted by an unforeseen issue. This Backup & Restore application support between LG smart phones, other S/W version or OS. And so, when you buy the new LG smart phone, you can back up the current LG-P940h smart phone data on your new one. If you have preloaded application Backup & Restore on your smart phone, you can back up and restore most of your smart phone data, applications including unprotected applications, their settings, Bookmarks, Calendar, Call log, Contacts, messages, and system settings using this application. And after enabling encryption, To restore synchronized organizer data, you must have an activation password. 6. note: you can also enable automatic delete old backups and only keep the most recent backup. press the menu from the Backup & restore screen, and select settings > scheduled backup > auto delete old backups to select the number of scheduled backups to keep. when you insert a memory card in your smart phone, the file directory of the memory card will appear in the polaris office / my folders/_ externalsd/spritebackup folder under the storage memory (when memory card is inserted.). Backup allows a user to immediately back up what the user selects. (application and application data, Contacts, messages, Call log, Calendar, Bookmarks) for the recent backup history, if there is no history of backups, “no backup” is displayed ; if there is history, up to two backed up files are displayed. • • • Backup & Restore 8 note: restore allows a user to restore backed up items when the user wants using backup files. the restore application can be used on the backed up smart phone as well as other lG smart phones. schedule allows a user to set a time for a scheduled backup by automatically generating a backup file at a desired time such as an early morning when the user usually does not use the phone. no scheduled backup is set by default if there is no previous setting through schedule; otherwise, the time of next scheduled backup is displayed. • • Phone software update 8 phone software update lG mobile phone software update from the internet For more information about using this function, please visit http:// update.lgmobile.com or http:// www.lg.com/common/index.jsp select country and language. This feature allows you to update the firmware on your phone to a newer version conveniently from the Internet without needing to visit a service centre. This feature will only be available if and when LG makes a newer firmware version available for your device. As the mobile phone firmware update requires the user's full attention for the duration of the update process, please make sure you check all instructions and notes that appear at each step before proceeding. Scope This report has been prepared to demonstrate compliance with the requirements for Dynamic Frequency Selection(DFS) as stated in FCC 06-96. Testing was performed LG-P940h in accordance with the measurement procedure described in Appendix B of FCC 06-96. As of July 20, 2007 all devices operating in the UNII-II Band and /or the UNII-III Bands must comply with the DFS requirements. As the EUT does not have radar detection capability it was evaluated as a Client Only Device. 4.
