USB to RS232 Cable User Manual Did you puzzle over the problem your PC hasn’t COM port? Now you needn’t to worry about it within the help of our USB to RS232 Cable. Follow the two steps as below, your PC could own a COM port too. 1. Install the USB to RS232 driver 2. Connect your β€œUSB to RS232 Cable” to PC, and then you can find the COM port in device manager. Now enjoy your COM port. NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. Operational Description

Circuit Description The USB to RS232 Cable use the IC PL-2303HX which works with 12MHz crystal to transform the USB signal and TTL signal to each other, and the IC SP3243EUCA to transform the TTL signal and RS232 signal to each other. The signal from USB interface goes into PL-2303HX and is transferred to TTL signal, then the TTL signal goes into SP3243EUCA and is transferred to RS232 signal, in the end, the RS232 signal is outputted via RS232 interface. While the signal comes from RS232 interface, the procedure is contrary to the condition that signal comes from USB interface.
