Installing the PS3 Basic Bluetooth Controller 1. Make sure your PS3™ is turned on. Switch the Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller to the ON position. The ON/OFF switch is located on the back side of the controller. 2. Connect the Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller to your PS3™ with the USB cable provided the 4 LED lights will flash slowly. 3. Press the Home button on the controller to start the sync operation, then the LED showing the player number of controller will remain on and the controller is ready to use. 3. Firmware Update The Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller is compatible with all PS3™ Firmware updates, however if you are experiencing problems with your controller due to a Firmware update please visit our website: www.collectiveminds.ca. If an update is available it will be available here. If you have questions or issues arise, email [email protected]. 4. Special Function Instructions 1. Turbo setting a. To use this feature press and hold the Turbo Button then press the desired analogue button(s). b. To cancel Turbo Mode follow the same procedure. 2. Sleep Mode a. The Controller has an automatic sleep mode, if the controller is not used within 7 minutes. To activate, press any of the buttons or move the analogue sticks. 3. Light ON/OFF a. The Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller has a light ON/OFF button as pictured previously. Simply press the button to turn backlighting on. Press the button again to turn backlighting off. 5. Charging & Battery Operation The Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller has an ON/OFF power switch. Please ensure that this switch is in the ON position before attempting to charge. The Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller contains a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. Recharge your battery only with compatible charges designed for this device. Unplug the charger when not in use. Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime. If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. A device with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged. Battery performance is limited in temperatures well below freezing. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire as they may explode. Batteries may also explode if damaged. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Please recycle where possible. Do not dispose of as household waste. The Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller has a low level battery indicator. If the LED showing the number of controllers is flashing it means the battery is low and you must charge your controller. To recharge the Controller connect it to one of the USB ports on the PS3™ with the USB Cable provided. 6. Immersion tm Vibration Feedback The Vibration function is compatible with all PS3™ games with this feature. The Vibration function is automatic on the PS3™ system. If the vibrations function does not work on your Mindforce PS3 Bluetooth Controller, please check to see if it is activated in the game and in the PS3™ Home menu. Make sure your PS3™ System is updated with the latest firmware (see Section 3). 7. Care and Maintenance Your device is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be treated with care. The suggestions below will help you protect your warranty cover. • Keep all accessories and enhancements out of reach of small children. • Keep your device dry from precipitation, humidity and all types of liquids or moisture can contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits. If your device gets wet allow it to dry completely before use. • Do not store or use your device in dusty, dirty areas as its moving parts electronic components can be damaged. • Do not store your device in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries and warp or melt certain plastics. • Do not store your device in cold areas. When your device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage electronic circuit boards. • Do not drop, knock or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics. • Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents to clean the device.
