Intended users of this operating manual This operating manual is intended for everyone who: • sets up, • operates, • cleans • or disposes of the record player. Warnings The warning signs in this operating manual are structured as seen below: The word „DANGER“ is pointing out an immediate life hazard! The word „WARNING“ is pointing out a potential life-threatening situation or irreversible injuries! The word „CAREFUL“ is pointing out the possible threat of medium or light injuries! Directives and standards This product conforms to: • the Low-voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), • the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), • RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, • ERP 2009/125/EC and • CE Marking Directive. This unit is labelled according to 2002/96/EC, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE). This product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead, it must be deposited at a recycling station for electrical and electronic devices. The symbol on the product and the instructions for use or the packaging indicate this. The materials can be recycled in accordance with their marking. By re-using, recycling, or repurposing old units, you make an important contribution to protecting our environment. 5 Safety instructions Please read through all of the safety instructions carefully and keep them for questions that may arise later. Safety instructions for using the power supply • The unit should only be connected to a mains voltage supply of 100- 240 V~, 50/60 Hz. • Never try to operate the unit with a different voltage. • Only use the supplied power supply or an original Dual alternative. • The mains plug should only be connected after installation has been completed according to the instructions. • Use a suitable, easily accessible mains connection and avoid using multiple sockets! • This socket should be as close to the unit as possible. • Make sure the power cable or plug is always easily accessible so that the unit can be disconnected quickly from the power supply! • Lay the mains cable in such a way that no one can trip over it and do not place any heavy objects on the mains cable. • Fully insert the mains plug into the socket. • Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands—risk of electric shock! • If the mains plug of the unit is defective or if the unit shows other damage, it must not be operated. • When unplugging the mains cable from the socket pull on the mains plug, not on the cable. • Disconnect the mains plug from the socket if you do not intend to use the unit for a pro…

No.: Rev.: 01 The diagram below shows the test setup that is utilized to make the measurements for emission above 1GHz. TEST PROCEDURE a. The EUT was placed on the top of a rotating table 0.8/1.5 meters above the ground at a 3 meter chamber test site. The table was rotated 360 degrees to determine the position of the highest radiation. b. While measuring the radiated emission below 1GHz, the EUT was set 3 meters away from the interference-receiving antenna, which was mounted on the top of a variable-height antenna tower. While measuring the radiated emission above 1GHz, the EUT was set 3 meters away from the interference-receiving antenna c. The antenna is a broadband antenna, and its height is varied from one meter to four meters above the ground to determine the maximum value of the field strength. Both horizontal and vertical polarization of the antenna are set to make the measurement. d. For each suspected emission, the EUT was arranged to its worst case and then the antenna was tuned to heights from 1 meter to 4 meters and the table was turned from 0 degrees to 360 degrees to find the maximum reading. e. The spectrum analyzer was set to Peak Detect Function and Specified Bandwidth with Maximum Hold Mode. f. If the emission level of the EUT in peak mode was 10 dB lower than the limit specified, then testing could be stopped and the peak values of the EUT would be reported. Otherwise the emissions that did not have 10 dB margin would be re-tested one by one using peak, quasi-peak or average method as specified and then reported in a data sheet. g. The tests were performed in accordance with 558074 D01 15.247 Meas Guidance v05 Note: NOTE: 1.
