Extremity SAR test exclusion According to §1.1307(b)(5), systems operating under the provisions of this section shall be operated in a manner that ensure that the public is not exposed to radio frequency energy level in excess of the Commissions guideline. The device has a standalone transmission only. The minimum separation between antenna and CALL key is 3 cm (refer to the photo below). According to KDB 447498 section 4.3.1, the 10-g SAR test exclusion thresholds at test separation distances≤ 50 mm are determined by: [(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance, mm)] •[√f(GHz)] = 228 / 30 * (0.4676) 1/2 = 5.2, this value is less than 7.5 for 10-g extremity SAR.
