PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLAYING AND RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. RADIO CONTROL FREQUENCY For interference-free results, do not operate this vehicle with other radio-controlled toys not included in this set within transmission range. TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER Since radio waves control this vehicle and in order to avoid interruption, do not operate this vehicle near electrical or telephone lines, interference, cd players, mobile phones, elevators, steel girders, other electronic devices and near highways. INSTALLING THE BATTERIES • Remember to set the “ON-OFF” switch at bottom of the vehicle to “OFF” position before inserting the batteries. • Unscrew and open battery compartment cover to insert batteries in the vehicle as shown in diagram. Make sure all batteries are at the correct polarities. • Close the cover and tighten the screw. • To insert battery in the controller, open battery compartment cover to insert battery as shown in diagram. • Close the cover. • Do not leave batteries in the vehicle and transmitter when the toy is not in use. • Do not mix old and new batteries together. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. • Supply terminals are not to be short circuited. • For best performance, alkaline batteries are recommended. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak. • Batteries contain mercury, don’t put in trash. Recycle or dispose as hazardous waste. • Batteries are included for demonstration purpose only and may need to be replaced by the consumer. OPERATING THE VEHICLE • For your safety, never play with this toy on the street. • Turn the “ON-OFF” switch at the bottom of the vehicle to "ON" position, then the vehicle will be idle. • The 27MHZ controller controls the 27MHZ vehicle, and the 49MHZ controller controls the 49MHZ vehicle. • Use the driving control stick on the controller to control the vehicle going forward or reverse. • Use the steering control stick on the controller to control the vehicle turning left or right. OPERATION TIPS 1. Operate only on smooth (but not slippery), dry and clean surface. 2. Do not play with this toy on grass, sand or carpet. 3. Do not drive the toy through water. 4. Always point the controller antenna upward for better transmission. 5. Do not make any physical contact with the controller antenna while operating. 6. Keep the toy in a dry and cool place after playing. 7. Do not leave in direct sunlight. 1 INTERTEK TESTING SERVICES Analysis Report The equipment under test (EUT) is a portable transmitter for a RADIO CONTROL VEHICLE-27MHZ –TRANSMITTER operating at 27.145 MHz which is controlled by a crystal. The EUT is powered by two 1.5V size AA batteries. For more detail information pls. refer to the user manual. Antenna Type: Integral antenna Antenna Gain: 0dBi The nominal conducted output power specified: -19.0dBm (+/- 3dB) The nominal radiated output power (e.r.p) specified: -21.15dBm (+/- 3dB) Modulation Type: Pulse modulation According to the KDB 447498: Th e worst-case peak radiated emission for the EUT is 75.9dBμV/m at 3m in the frequency 27.145MHz The EIRP = [(FS*D) ^2 / 30] mW= -19.33dBm The ERP = EIRP – 2.15 = -21.48 dBm which is within the production variation. The maximun conducted output power specified is -16.0d Bm =0.025mW The source- based time-averaging conducted output power = 0.025* Duty Cycle mW < 0.1mW (Duty Cycle<100%) Th e SAR Exclusion Threshold Level for 27.145MHz when the minimum test separation distance is < 50mm: = 474 * [1 + log(100/f(MHz)]/2 = 371.2 mW Since the source-based time-averaging conducted output power is well below the SAR low threshold level, so the EUT is considered to comply with SAR requirement without testing. Transmitter Duty Cycle Calculation The duration of one cycle = 17.7391ms Effective period of the cycle = 478.3μs x 10 + 1.4783ms x 4 = 10.6962ms DC = 10.6962ms / 17.7391ms = 0.6029 or 60.29% FCC ID: 2AB69-27T
