Your QDOS Q‐PUK Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker for all Bluetooth compatible iProducts, smartphones, tablets, PCs and other devices capable of streaming Bluetooth audio is designed to deliver a superior audio experience as an ultra light‐weight mini portable speaker system. This compact, rugged speaker built for outdoor use easily connects wirelessly to your music device, in seconds...no cables, no hassles! Robust and durable with its unique protective, waterproof silicone skin, it will provide hours of crystal clear audio on the go. We hope you will take few moments to read this manual and follow all user instructions to get to know your product. After pairing successfully, it will remain blue • Blue LED on ‐ playing • Red LED on ‐ charging, when charging is finished, it will turn off ⑥ Power switch On/Off • Press for 3 seconds to power on/off • The unit will turn off automatically after 5 minutes if no audio devices are paired ⑦ Pause/Play button • Press for pause, press again for play music under Bluetooth playing mode. ⑧ Micro USB charging port underneath a waterproof and dustproof cover ⑨ Silicone band • 85mm length. Company Confidential Reso Ltd T/A QDOS Issue N° 1 16 th June 2014 Operation First, turn on the QDOS Q‐PUK Bluetooth Waterproof speaker using the On/Off button on the side of the device ⑥. Press the button for 3 seconds to power on or power off. When powered on, the blue LED light will flash and you will hear a sound. Your QDOS Q‐ PUK Bluetooth speaker is ready for use. When you are ready to turn off the Q‐PUK speaker, simply hold the power button down for 3 seconds. You will hear a sound and the blue LED light will turn off. NB ‐ to preserve battery power and ensure uninterrupted fun when out and about, the QDOS Q‐PUK is designed to turn off after 5 minutes when not in use, or when no device is paired! Connecting your QDOS Q‐PUK waterproof speaker for playback via Bluetooth  Activate the Bluetooth function of your device (smartphone, PC or tablet)  Make sure the QDOS Q‐PUK is turned on  Search for QDOS  Find QDOS Pairing  Select QDOS to connect and play  When finished playing do remember to turn off the QDOS Q‐PUK using the power button Connecting your QDOS Q‐PUK waterproof speaker for playback via NFC*  Search your mobile device and, if applicable, turn on/select the option ‘allow data exchange when close to other devices’  Make sure the QDOS Q‐PUK is turned on  Bring the mobile phone close to the NFC zone on the Q‐PUK for 3 seconds  You will hear a prompt voice which means the NFC connection has been successful  You may disconnect with NFC by simply bringing the phone close to the NFC zone when you are finished using the device but do remember to turn off the QDOS Q‐PUK using the power button *when choosing this method, please ensure your mobile phone supports the NFC function NB – If you are unable to connect with your device by either method, you may need to delete other Bluetooth devices from your device list. See TROUBLESHOOTING for more information. Company Confidential Reso Ltd T/A QDOS Issue N° 1 16 th June 2014 Using your QDOS Q‐PUK device  Now that you are connected and ready for play, you can control the volume either directly on the QDOS Q‐PUK using the volume buttons ② ④, or via the volume control on your paired device  When making or receiving a call, the audio will pause during the call and restart when the call has ended NB ‐ sound performance can be affected by transmitting distance, poor signal and other factors. See TROUBLESHOOTING for more information. Waterproof details for your QDOS Q‐PUK Bluetooth speaker  Your QDOS Q‐PUK is tested and certified submersible up to 1 metre  Please note that playback may be momentarily affected due to water pressure and interference  It is recommended to shake off any excess surface water and dry your QDOS Q‐PUK before re‐use to get back to optimal performance NB ‐ the QDOS Q ‐PUK is a waterproof speaker and is protected against accidental water ingress for a rugged outdoor or indoor use.
