STEP 3 Send a Local Message You can send local messages and long distance messages to Toy-Fi Teddy through out Toy-Fi Cloud. 1. Go to messages on your Toy-Fi APP and record a message. You can now send the message to Toy-Fi Teddy. 2. When a message is received from Toy-Fi Teddy, the heart will blink fast. Additional Notes: • Toy-Fi Teddy requires a Bluetooth connection with a mobile device. A device with the Toy-Fi APP needs to be within 10 meters of Toy-Fi Teddy. • In step 4 you can enable more devices to connect to Toy-Fi Teddy and enable friends and family to send messages to Toy-Fi Teddy. • You can send a reply to a message after you listen to them. Please ask us on Toy-Fi.com STEP 4 Connecting with more people From the Toy-Fi Teddy APP you can invite friends to connect with your Toy-Fi Teddy. Follow the instruction in the Toy-Fi Teddy APP. An email will be sent to your friends to download the APP with a security key to get connected. Additional Notes Step 2: • Enter a valid email address so it can be verified. If you did not receive an email, look in trash or spam as some emails can be filtered! We need a valid email so we can create a key that locks your child’s toy to your device. Child safety is important to us! • Ensure you have a data connection. Wifi or cellular data. • Ensure Bluetooth is ON in you settings of your iOS or Android device. • Toy-Fi APP is on Android and Apple APP stores, search Toy-Fi. • Ensure you are within 10 meters of Toy-Fi Teddy. • If light on Toy starts blinking and APP informs you that Toy-Fi firmware is updating please keep APP open and stay within 10 meters. Toy-Fi firmware update takes around 2 minutes. STEP 2 Set-Up the Toy Download ToyFi APP on an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Android device. Once the APP is downloaded it will ask you to go through the registration process. Confirm your email and you will be able to connect the Bear. Now follow the steps on your app!
