Before you do anything else, please read this Charging your GALAPAD We strongly recommend that you charge your GALAPAD fully before you use. To charge your GALAPAD:  Connect the power adapter to your GALAPAD  Plug the power adapter into a wall socket. NOTICE  Use only the power adapter that comes with your device. Using a different power adapter may damage your device.  The input voltage range between the wall outlet and this adapter is AC100V-240V. Products may not be available in all markets. Get to know your tablet ① Power (Keep touching for star. And then keep touching for flight mode or shutdown. Tap for locked or unlocked. When the system is halted, keep touching may lead forced shutdown. But if you want even more storage space, you can purchase and use a microSD card with your tablet. Insert your microSD card into the storage card slot with its gold contacts facing down. And push it in until it clicks into place Your Home screen Almost anything you want is only a swipe and a tap away on your Home screen. Smoothly roll around the screens to see your favorite apps or widgets that show live updates of social network feeds, weather forecasts, email. And more. Personalize your tablet Customize your tablet just the way you want it. You can:  Change the wallpaper, skin, widgets, apps, or shortcuts.  Choose a sound set that uses different sounds for your notifications such as incoming messages and calendar reminders.  Personalize the lock screen. Choose from a selection of lock screen styles. Lock screen When your tablet becomes idle, it turns the display off and goes to sleep mode to save battery power. Simply press POWER to turn the display back on. You’ll then see the Lock screen. To unlock the screen, you can: Manage Applications To manage the applications installed on your device, tap Settings→Apps.  To uninstall an application, select DOWNLOADED, then select an item and tap Uninstall, tap OK to confirm.  To stop or change the settings of an application, select RUNNING or ALL, then select an item and tap the option you need. Connection Settings Your tablet support wireless connection. Search for the function: Settings > Wireless&Networks Connecting to a PC If you wish to transfer information between your tablet and your computer, you can connect your tablet to a PC using the supplied micro USB cable. Plug the USB sync cable into the micro USB port on your tablet. Plug the USB client connector into an available USB port on your computer. Wi-Fi With Wi-Fi, you can connect to the internet or other network devices anywhere an access point or wireless hotspot is available. Activate the Wi-Fi feature  From application list, tap Settings→Wireless&Networks.  Open Wi-Fi switch. Find and connect to Wi-Fi  Once the Wi-Fi feature is activated, the device automatically search for available Wi-Fi connection.  Select a network.  Enter a password for the network (if necessary). VPN You can create virtual private network via public network such as Internet to connect your private network. Set a VPN Connection  Select Setting→More→VPN Connection, add VPN configuration files And fill in related info.(available options depend on VPN types);  Select Save if done. Connect to Private Network  Select Setting→More→VPN and tap pribate network  Fill in name and password and then select Connect. Tip: Only when the screen keeps unlocked could you use the function. Security features Configure lock screen Choose settings for unlocking your screen.  From the Home screen, touchApps→Settings→Security.  Touch Screen lock for these settings:  None: Disable all lock settings, so the screen will never lock.  Slide: The default lock level.  Pattern: A screen unlock pattern is atouch gesture you create and use to unlock your device. Follow the prompts to create or change a screen unlock pattern.  PIN: Select a PINto use for unlocking the screen.  Password: Create a password for unlocking the screen.  Touch Use visible pattern to show the unlock pattern as you draw it to unlock the screen.  Touch Owner info to enable display of your own text on the lock screen. Touch the text field to enter text for the display. Reset Tablet Select Settings→Backup&reset→Factory data reset from application list. You can reset system and desktop settings to their original values. And erase the whole data saved in the device. Tip: Factory data reset will erase all data from your device and SD card, including your google account, system and application data and settings, and downloaded applications. Play Store Access lots of fun games and tools in the play Store using you Google account. If you don’t have a Google account, Please create one. To access the play Store:  Touch to go to the all apps screen.  From the all apps screen, tap Play Store  You need a Google account to access Google Play. If you don’t have an existing account, tap New.  Type your Email and Password to Sign in if you already have an account. Tip: All applications offered by Play Store are developed by third party.
