Users Manual

Smart series iRULU Mobile Phone V1 User’s Guide FCC Regulations This mobile phone complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This mobile phone has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: ‐Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. ‐Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. ‐Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. ‐Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user‘s authority to operate the equipment. The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or tv interference caused by unauthorized modifications to this equipment. Such modifications could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co‐located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. RF Exposure Information (SAR) This mobile phone meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so as to use only the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. The highest SAR value for the model phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at the ear is 0.506 W/kg and when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 0.645W/kg (Body‐worn measurements differ among phone models, depending upon available accessories and FCC requirements.) While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they all meet the government requirement. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model phone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this model phone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid after searching on FCC ID: 2ADOV-IRULUV1. For body worn operation, this phone has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with an accessory that contains no metal and the positions the handset a minimum of 1.0 cm from the body. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines. If you do no t use a body‐worn accessory and are not holding the phone at the ear, position the handset a minimum of 1.0 cm from your body when the phone is switched on. Please make sure the temperature for production unit will be between ‐10~50 ̊C. 1 1 The Basics 1.1 Overview Thank you for choosing the GSM/WCDMA digital mobile phone. USA111 INC. 5885 Green Pointe Dr. Suite B Groveport OH, 43125 Tel: 614-8360241 Letter for Label Proposal FCC ID: 2ADOV-IRULUV1 Date: Dec. 16, 2014 Equipment Authorization Division Office of Engineering and Technology Federal Communications Commission 7435 Oakland Mills Road Columbia, MD 21046 Dear Sirs: USA111 INC. requests acceptance of the labeling proposal described below for transceivers bearing FCC identifier 2ADOV-IRULUV1. The subject transceivers are compact handheld models as shown in figure 1, authorized under FCC Part 22/24 for mobile services. Figure 1. Because the majority of the transceiver housing is composed of display, speaker, operating controls, and a removable battery pack, there is extremely limited space available to attach the required label carrying the FCC identifier. Attaching the label to the battery pack is not acceptable because the battery pack is a removable item. For this reason, we propose placing the label carrying the FCC identifier inside the battery compartment as shown in figure 2. USA111 INC. 5885 Green Pointe Dr. Suite B Groveport OH, 43125 Tel: 614-8360241 Proposed Label Location on EUT Figure 2. The consumer packaging for these models includes the battery pack as a separate item, NOT installed on the radio. As such, the FCC identifier will be readily visible to the user before the battery pack is installed and whenever the battery pack is removed or replaced. In this location, the label will also be protected from physical abuse and remain readable for the anticipated life of the device. The consumer packaging for these models is a "gift box" which does not allow the transceiver to be seen at time of purchase. In order to meet the requirements of 47CFR Part 2.925 (d), We will add the FCC identifier "2ADOV-IRULUV1" to the outside of the consumer "gift box" packaging. Sincerely yours, Carolyn Schafer / Director

I understand the following FCC requirements: 1. Devices subject to the DoC procedure are required to be tested to show compliance with the FCC technical regulations by a recognized accredited testing laboratory. The testing laboratory must be accredited by a Commission approved accreditation body or designated under the terms of a government-to-government Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). A listing of those accredited testing laboratories that have been recognized by the Commission is published on the FCC Webpage: https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/TestFirmSearch.cfm (Select the "accredited" option to search for FCC recognized accredited test firms.) 2. Test facilities located in countries, where the U.S. does not have an operational Telcom MRA are not recognized by the FCC to test for the DoC procedure. 3. Pt 2.1077 contains the list of information that must be included in the Declaration of Conformity, which must be supplied with each product sold. The DoC compliance info shall be included in the User’s Manual or as a separate sheet. The info must contain the name, address, and phone number of the responsible party, which must be located within the United States. According to 2.909(c)(2), the responsible party is either the Manufacturer or if the product is imported the Importer. Sincerely, Carolyn Schafer / Director
