User’sManualWirelessUSBAdapter 54M/150M/300Mbps USB Wireless Adapter User’sManual Version2.5 User’sManualWirelessUSBAdapter 1 FederalCommunicationCommissionInterferenceStatement ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuant toPart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmful interferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradiofrequency energyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterference toradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticular installation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcan bedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrectthe interferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures: -Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna. -Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver. -Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected. -Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp. AtypicalInternetaccessapplicationfortheUSBwirelessadapterisshownasthefollowingfigure: This equipment complies with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This device and its antenna must not be located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction. Note: WiFi 802.11a is only for indoor use. The SAR limit adopted by USA and Canada is 1.6 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged over one gram of tissue. The highest SAR value reported to the FCC and IC for this device type when properly worn on the body is 0.774 W/kg.
