Circuit Description The equipment under test (EUT) is anHDMI Wireless ExtenderwithWIFI. This circuit shows the main IC of the product, including theVCT6601 and MT7921AUN. VCT6602is a main control chip with a crystal of24MHzfrequency as base clock signal to control that the WIFI module transmitting and receiving the wireless communication signal in the frequency range from 5180-5240MHz. The MediaTekMT7921AUNWi-Fi chipset is based on a 22nm process, providing higher performance and lower power consumption. The MT7921AUN implements Multi user Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM withtwo transmissions and two receive paths (2T2R) Features Two spatial stream transmissions Spatial spreading Support for variant channel bandwidth Work with a40MHzbasic crystal oscillator Antenna,GroundandPowerSource The antenna consists of two External antennas There is no external ground connection. The ground is only that of the printed circuit board. Electric current is supplied by Power Adapter DC5V.
