Turn on the Bluetooth on your device. (Refer to your device’s user manual for details if necessary.) 2. Make sure your device is within the operating range (25-30 feet) of the speaker. 3. Slide 3-way switch to “ON” position. The light-up face will flash and the speaker will make a beeping sound which indicates the product is in AUTO-PAIRING mode. 4. The product will go into SLEEPING mode automatically if it does not pair with any device after 10 minutes. To reactivate the AUTO-PAIRING mode, simply turn 3-way switch OFF and turn it back ON. 5. Once the product is in AUTO-PAIRING mode, look for “Pumpkin SPK” on your device and connect. Once the product is connected with your device, it will make another beeping sound. PLAY YOUR MUSIC (after the product is successfully paired with your device): 1. Activate your audio device as you normally do. 2. Turn 3-way switch to “OFF (TRY ME)” position to preserve battery life if not in use. TO INSTALL/REPLACE BATTERIES: : 1. Locate battery compartment on the bottom of the product. 2. Turn the 3-way switch to “OFF (TRY ME)” position. 3. Open battery compartment cover by removing screw with a Phillips head screwdriver. 4. Insert / replace 3 “AA” batteries - follow polarity diagrams inside the battery compartment. 5. Replace the cover and turn 3-way switch back to “ON” to activate the Bluetooth function or turn switch to “LIGHTS ONLY” position to use the product as a light-up decoration. PRECAUTIONS: - Do not mix old and new batteries. - Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. - Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. - Batteries should only be changed under adult supervision. - Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak. - Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. - The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. - Do not use rechargeable batteries. - Batteries are harmful if swallowed, so keep away from young children. - Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. - Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. - Remove battery if product left unused for a long time. TO OPERATE: 1. Locate 3-way switch (FIG. B) on the bottom of the product. 2. Default setting of 3-way switch is set to “OFF (TRY ME)” for store demonstration. Bluetooth function is disabled in this setting. 3. To turn on the Bluetooth function, slide 3-way switch to “ON” position to pair your device with this product. (See pairing instruction below under “PAIRING YOUR DEVICE”.) 4. To operate this product as a light-up decoration, turn 3-way switch to “LIGHTS ONLY” position. Product is equipped with a two hour automatic timer (2 hours on / 22 hours off). * Lights will operate for 2 hours and will automatically turn off for 22 hours. If “LIGHTS ONLY” switch is left on, the lights will turn on for two hours 24 hours after initial activation of “LIGHTS ONLY” setting.
