This turns off the screen, but the system is still r unning. 2.4 Switch off When the device is in the ON mode, press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds. Choose the Power off option on the screen. Press OK to confirm and shut down the system. 2. 5 Charge the batter y Insert the small end of the USB adapter into the micro USB port on the device, and connect the other end to a power outlet to charge the device. Note: For best results, charge the device for at least 8 - 12 hours the first time you use it to make sure it is fully charged. While chargi ng, the blue indicator light on the device turns on , and the battery icon on the screen shows a lightning bolt. 2.6 Use the keyboard The tablet has a soft keyboard that appears automatically when you tap the place on the screen where text is to be entered. To change the keyboard language, hold down the comma (,) key for one second, then release. Choose Input languages, and select the language you want.
